No counter service any more, just automated machines. I visited today during business hours and the lady supervising the automated machines was very friendly and helpful. We are lucky to have this branch in the town with so many closing down. A very positive experience and she was very helpful.

Closed branches down, after 1 hour still not able to speak with a human. Banked with them for over 20 years zero customer service, worst bank I have ever dealt with.

Evil at best.Charge you bank charges when their paying in machine eats your money and fails again and again.Horrible Souless croud of crooks.

Staff at the bank have really bad attitude problems and are very unhelpful. When I couldn't update the hsbc app because it said my phone was not compatible for it a member of staff told me to buy a new phone so I could carry on using the app. Another member of staff refused to get up from his seat to help me with a machine so I could print a statement. He just sat there calling out instructions.

Visited branch today and Ben welcomed us with a cherie, friendly manner. Helped us settle things efficiently, but took the time to get details correct. Helpful staff and good branch layout. Thanks again.

Says you can Deposit cash 24 hours but that?s only if you are lucky! If the doors do open after closing time to let you into The secure Area where the Machines are located I?ve found that the Machine to deposit cash is out of order more often than it is working.

Terrible customer service no contact available with this branch unless you go in, in person. No direct telephone number or email. Tried to charge me £1 per piece of paper printed for a statement. So pleased my accounts are all closed with this ?local bank?.

We tried opening a business banking account with HSBC, and after very limited information for over a month, the application expired because HSBC never got round to reviewing anything.
To clarify, this is not a criticism of the staff at the local branch, but HSBC as a whole. You also should not open a business account at this branch because the business banking advisors do not respond to emails from customers AND the branch staff, and supposedly haven't been there in the past two months.
DO NOT use this place for business banking. The number listed here is also not for the local branch, but for a call centre that put us on hold for over an hour at one point. Don't use HSBC.
