bathroom.Issue 4 - the finished articleThe tiling was good however there were the following issues:? The toilet was not even close to being level? Dirty grouting in the shower area? Wrong tap on the sink? Water pipes for the sink had been installed poorly, they were exposed and grouted into the external part of the tiles. (should anything need repairing the only option would be to remove them from the tiles causing us to replace the tiles)? Exposed U bend for the sink in white plastic. Aesthetically this looks appalling, the brochure shows pipes to match the tap and was confirmed by the store that they usually order a chrome pipe but this was overlooked.Unfortunately i am running out of space....but effectively Wickes design consultants have been aware of the issues and have so far failed to return my calls and failed to amend the issues. Never going with Wickes again

Closed off an entire aisle to use the forklift when they could have closed off only a section of the aisle, had to wait an for operations to finish before being able to get my sand. Not happy!

Firstly I drove from Bishops Storford to Harlow branch to purchase and item they stated they had in stock, only to wait around for 30 minutes to be told they don?t have it in stock and to try another branch with no sorry.I then PAID via click and collect for the item in Stevenage which took a further 40 minutes to drive too at 7pm, only to wait around for another 20 minutes just to be told it must have been an error online in which they did not have or couldn?t find the item.So I had to drive another hour home after wasting 3 hours of my time, wasted plenty of Diesel and am still £70 down empty handed.Which will now effect tomorrows job, considering I spend thousands of pounds in Wickes yearly they will no longer get my money.Horrible service and they need to sort their website and stock functions out. ??

Always a pleasure to go there if they haven't got it they help to find out where you can get

Visited 20/05/23. As you can see in the shelf a lot of OUT OF STOCK items. This is why I usually visit SCREWFIX. This Wickes is one of the worst for product availability.

Treat customers like they are an inconvenience.Needed some wood and they only sell it in 2.4m lengths which won?t fit in a car. Asked if they could cut it in two for me and was told very abruptly that ?they don?t provide that service anymore and they won?t lend a saw (presumably because I might cut my own arm off!) so you?ll have to buy one and cut it yourself in the car park? then she turned and walk off!Firstly, it?s pretty poor that they don?t have a simple cutting service anymore but more over there is absolutely no need to be so rude about it! Treating your customers like they are an inconvenience is a sure fire way to lose business. If you want to survive in this economy Wicks then you need to sort this out!Wont bother shopping there again, will just go to Homebase next door.

I have come last Monday to the store to look for an attachment that fixed the shower head to the pipe in the wet room.Tyler has asked his colleague to cover the desk at the time, came to help me find this attachment and now I have a working shower.I have tried Eve but could not fix the shower head.I am most grateful that good people like Tyler exist. He is a good employee and I am incredibly grateful to him.Kind regards,Camelia

Awful customer service. The blonde hair girl with tattoos was so rude to me and my family. We accidentally walk behind a no access barrier (which was tiny and wasn't labelled) she was so rude to us about it then walked around the store on her phone. We actually needed help finding something but didn't want to approach her due to her attitude towards us. Will be taking out business elsewhere.

Terrible experience, won't be shopping here again. First off, I ordered 3 tubs of 5 litre paint with click and collect. Was on my way to collect and get a phone call saying they only had 2 tubs (which I could have collected from my closer store). Then after picking up the two tubs of Cupronol Garden Shades, I stacked them securely in the boot of my car with a buggy and box of wellies - pulled out of their car park and both tins manage to tip and spill 10 litres of paint in my boot. The cost of having my car valeted and £70 of paint down the drain, Wicks were most unhelpful with my situation! Wasn't after any compensation for my car situation, just two more tins of paint! By the way, cupronol tins are secured with a pathetic plastic lid, so unless you are able to actually carry them on your lap, I wouldn't risk buying! Won't be shopping here again. Staff less than helpful!

I?ve spent several thousand pounds here in the past few months whilst renovating my flat.On one trip I stayed longer than 60 minutes and received a £100 fine for the pleasure. One of the staff tried to help appeal but we didn?t get the fine overturned. It?s poor form from Wickes to install a parking limit for a warehouse type shop where customers can easily spend an hour browsing the aisles or picking out a kitchen or bathroom.I?m now getting my tools and materials from Homebase, B&Q and Screwfix.

Always great friendly service. Can often be a queue at crunch times but they usually call for more tills pretty quickly. Currently certain stocks have been low in store though

Great store. Plenty of choice of hardware for DIY. Good parking and access. Always find what I need.
