It's not the first time this staff member 'person of colour' is rude abusive and arrogant. Has no comprehension of customer relations and is speaks to customers like dirt. Avoid this Branch for peace of mind.

Ridiculous that a bank is not open on a weekend. Most people work during the week and can only get to a bank on a weekend.

I have to wait ages to be seen by the customer service. They are very very slow. Spend last 20 minutes talking to each other instead of helping customer.

I went into the Halifax branch on Shenley road yesterday. When I asked to withdraw cash I was told I could not as they had an IT issue. I asked for a note stating this issue for my personal reference. At this point the attendant started getting very rude saying she wouldn't do it and didn't see why she should. I asked to speak to the branch manager, Aruna Shah who was equally rude and unhelpful. When I told her I would complain about her she said she would complain about me and when I told her I would change banks she smiled and told me to do so. I see why her staff have such a lack of customer service skills, profesionalism and manners as she sets the example in such a bad way. This branch is a disgrace to Halifax's reputation. I will take this complaint much further internally as I don't think anybody deserves to be served by a horrible person like Aruna Shah and her staff need to be trained by a better manager.
