Full disclosure: I don't really like country pubs due to too many memories of bad food, sticky carpets, sullen teenagers with poor customer service and unwelcoming, cliquey locals who stare at non-locals when they walk in.If ONE pub could change my mind, it would be this one! Stayed for 1 night with my partner, in the premium room and ate at the pub.Pros: Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of easy parking. Nice play area for kids. Cute patio with Tables and property backs up to field with sheep.Cons: The room was pretty bare bones, which is fine if you’re prepared... read full comment
