I recently visited this place and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual hangout with friends or a relaxing evening alone. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. When I requested something non-alcoholic, they kindly offered a selection of alcohol-free beers, which was a pleasant surprise. As for the food, the cheese toastie was particularly delicious, with its rich and savory flavor complementing the entire experience. I highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a great spot to unwind and enjoy quality drinks and food.

A pub with a friendly atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff and a good selection of beers. Reasonably priced food that is of a good quality. Recommend the Sunday roast.Vegetarian options: Can recommend the vegetarian Sunday roast. Very tasty and reasonably priced.

What a lovely pub! I came here with my friend. The food was delicious and nicely cooked. With friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. I highly recommended coming here.

I had a reservation booked for 2 people at 5pm on 17/02/2024 for a late valentines meal due to being poorly on Valentine?s Day. First impressions were great, very lovely looking restaurant with a great vibe. We were seated pretty quickly by a gentleman (possible shift manager) who said once ready to come to the bar to order. We picked out meals and I proceeded to wait at the till to the left. No one was in front of me thou one server was serving a few drinks customers on the next till. So I waited holding a menu in clear view of one other girl who wasn?t serving and another lady who looked as if she had just started her shift. After nearly 10 minutes and still waiting (in this time one of the servers was making two alcohol filled cocktails which I assumed were for customers) this server made eye contact with me multiple times as did the lady who was starting her shift, I was shocked to see the server give one cocktail to another server and they both drank them laughing about how strong they were. She then put her drink down and said to the lady who I assume just started ?I?m on cocktails but do you want me to serve this lady (meaning myself) by this time I?d be waiting around 10-12 minutes. To which this lady said oh sorry are you waiting I thought you were just stood there. I was so taken back that I said no thank you I will eat elsewhere. As we were leaving the gentleman who sat us asked if I was ok I said I don?t feel it is acceptable for workers to ignore customers while making personal drinks nor should they be drinking while working and servicing customers and left. I am absolutely appalled and will contact head office for to filed a complaint as this was unacceptable.

Very nice place, relaxed and chilled. Enjoyed reading a book in the corner with a Camembert! Definitely returning!

Food quality back to pre covid. The Steak and Ale pie was very good. Chips were good, but a bit undercooked.Service and atmosphere great as always.

Great pub near the park in Harpenden. Staff are friendly and service was good. I had the steak ciabatta which was very tasty. Reasonably priced and lots of choice on the menu. Kids menu available too. On street parking available nearby and several carparks in the town a short distance away.

Have never been here before but it was lovely TB management was very professional and the food was delicious and the dessert was divine, thank you I highly recommend coming
