My elderly mother is profoundly deaf and also is housebound. We had the most amazing service and wonderful care throughout this experience for new hearing aids. Anton the audiologist is one in a million and despite my mother having virtually no hearing at all, fitted hearing aids which have changed her life. Thank you Anton for all your dedication and kindness.

I would have provided 5 stars but they were unable to provide the correct case for the designer glasses that I had purchased. There was initially no mention and I was about to be given the specsavers 'eggbox' type case. They have promised to order the correct cases or save them from their next order. Incidentally the same thing also occurred in Peckham specsavers in 2016. On that occasion I refused to take the glasses without the correct cases and they looked again and suddenly found them !

All of the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient.The new prescription is spot on.The frames were adjusted perfectly.Price was good.I'm very happy with every aspect of the service.

Good service overall however they are misleading customers about the cost of the eye test saying its £35 when its actually £25 with the option of taking additional OTC test for £10. They should be clearer.Also i had to wait for the actual optician appointment for about 45 min with no explanation of the delay. That has left me no time to pick the glasses and late at home to my 6 months old baby.

Harry at Specsavers Hemel Hempstead was exemplary. Went over & above to sort things. Came to adjust glasses but also got all my eye tests booked, reminded me of contact lens checks. Very very happy. Every employer really needs a Harry.

I had always heard about Specsavers and thought I'd give them a try. However, after my recent experience, I'll be returning to my previous optician. I wasn't satisfied with the service in general. It's not a reflection on the staff, who were polite but somewhat distant.I felt that things weren't explained properly during my initial visit, and I had to follow up with them for my glasses, both the first and the second pair. They don't usually send any notifications when my glasses are ready, which I believe would improved customer satisfaction.All these minor issues added up and fell short of my expectations for Specsavers. I understand that experiences can vary depending on the specific location and the professionals running it. Additionally, I found the prices to be significantly higher than what I was paying with my previous optician, nearly 50% more.Given these factors, I don't think I'll be returning to Specsavers in the future.
