First time here today. Fantastic place. Friendly staff and easy to use for newbies.Chris on slope patrol was an absolute gent and even found time to give me some handy pointers, which progressed me massively.Booked myself in for another visit already!

This where I learned how to snowboarding for the first time, the lessons they provide are so helpful, the instructor truly passionate of what they are teaching.I come like 2 times a month.

My kids had a fantastic lesson here and the staff were brilliant. One receptionist went above and beyond as we turned up a day (!) early. She went out of her way to make the lesson possible after a long drive and a lot of looks of despair from my husband and kids. We have rebooted for further lessons so good to see the children's confidence develop and to support an admin error on my part was much much appreciated.

A pretty good experience for the kid to enjoy skiing. The tutor is nice

Place to learn. If you have never skied before and would like to this is the place. The instructors are brilliant. My children can both ski after just a few hours. And ski really well - lovely technique, safe and controlled. Thank you to James who taught Elliot and Thomas P who taught Bethany. Being slightly older and petrified I really didn?t want to ski at all. But I gave it a go. I have had some great instructors but I need to mention Linda F, David S and Graham. Particularly brilliant as teachers. Patient, kind and thorough. I need to have everything explained to me as I?m slightly more mature! And they were very patient. I?ve enjoyed myself so much I?m going to come back and keep skiing as it?s fun and I really enjoyed myself.

A lovely place to learn snowboarding. This two-star review is giving to the booking system from 20 years ago. I?m an annual member. Sometimes when you add your annual membership to the booking, the slots just become unavailable. Then you have to call to book (of course they are indeed available). Sometimes availability differs on laptop and mobile. And sometimes, the system just doesn?t recognise your membership and wants you to pay the full price! I skipped so many lessons I would?ve done here due to the glitch of the system. Once you booked, you can only call or email to amend. This is such an old system that makes it so difficult for customers to spend money on the service provided, while we live in a time a personal calendar works better. When calling to amend lessons, there have been all sort of problems, for instance the handler not seeing the same availability as customers do and being changed to the wrong lesson (snowboarding being changed to skiing incorrectly). Both happened to me. And I only found out I was changed the wrong lesson after spending 1.5 hours and £25 on the transport to get there. This entire workflow should be automated already. It will be worth the investment.

Went for a level five lesson today and unfortunately it wasn?t my day at the top of the slopes. However, I cannot speak highly enough of every member of the team who were incredibly supportive and encouraging in helping me regain my confidence on the slopes and guided me in a warm and friendly manner including Emma and Dan. Special mention to Harry who gave me some 1-2-1 advice including next steps to continue my progression. Anyone looking for lessons I would wholeheartedly recommend The Snow Centre!

Booked a 3hrs Level 1 group lesson for £115. The group had 10 pupils. Thought I'd be able to learn more than we did in the time we had. Think the group was a few pupils too many. Alot of standing around and waiting for a turn.Have to say though our tutor was amazing. So encouraging, calm and patient. Sadly can't remember his name. But the class was on Saturday 2/12/23 at 8.30am.

Had Betty teaching the Level 3 Snowboard group today. She was brilliant and made it clear and simple to help progress a mixed abilities group. The only downer was feeling packed like sardines in the nursery slope.. Apparently it can be busier ? This really hampered progression. I?d suggest making use of the lower part of the main slope for teaching during busy period of teaching.

Greta place to learn to snowboard and ski before heading off on your own. They have very skilled and friendly instructors, the group sessions are better value for money and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to take up Snowboarding.Me and my mate have just passed our Level 4 here, always have a bite to eat in the lodge restaurant and bar before hand and a free drink is on the house after your session. It can get busy at times, but it depends on holidays and weekends as any place would.

First time visiting an indoor ski slope after several years of skiing in the mountains.Easy check-in process on the self check-in kiosk on arriving, assisted by the kind team member. Had my own boots so just needed to pick up skis, which were almost new Head skis and had nice sharp edges ?Plenty or cubicles to change into your ski gear and benches to put your boots on. Free lockers available to store your stuff in too if needed. The snow was surprisingly good quality almost what you want on a perfect mountain day, The slope itself was like a decent blue slope in terms of steepness, doesn't look that steep in photos, but enough to test beginners and good for the experienced skiers too.Takes about 2 mins to go up the button lift and about 12-30s to go down the slope, speed depending!Definitely will return to sharpen up my technique before my trip to the Alps next March! ??

First time in an indoor snow arena and instructor Dwayne was great at teaching! I manage to improve my posture significantly within a short amount of time. He also made sure to let the ski patrol team know that I was new to that particular ski lift.I was struggling with the ski lift initially on the snowboard but Chris from the slope patrol team very friendly and guided me throughout and even gave me a mini lesson on the side. He was also highly encouraging and said that I will get it by the end of the day. Just like he said by mid afternoon I was able to use the ski lift without much issues. Thank you to both Dwayne and Chris.

Awesome place with lovely instructors. I've had seven lessons in all and feel reasonably competent (able to go down the main slope without embarrassing myself). I did come across one not-so-good instructor but the others made up for it. The price of an oat milk hot chocolate was a bit of a sting but not enough to deduct a star. It is getting busier as we hit half-term/winter so there can be a bit of a queue for the lifts (and I felt uncomfortable using the faster lesson lane to push in front of others)...
