This branch had serious reliability issues under the previous owners (Lloyds), but since the change of ownership to independent I?ve been massively impressed with the service they provide. Thanks to the staff for their hard work.

Terrible I wouldn't even rate this 1 star. I tried to call the chemist 15 times over a 4hr period and no one picked up. My husband went into the chemist and no customers were there and two people working that could have answered the telephones. Terrible

I wouldn't even give 1 star, very bad service, I its always closed before 9 and during lunch and after 5, I called in many times they hardly answer, finally got through and asked for my prescription to be released on the spine, although they confirmed that they did but when I tried to get it issued by a different pharmacy it was still locked by them, and I've been trying to contact them since can't get through, it's delayed me so much and its such an inconvenience, I would avoid

pharmacist was very rude. I left and brought the product from boots whereby advice was delivered in a friendly manner.

I have never left a pharmacy and burst into tears like this. Incredibly rude pharmacist who, at first, refused to dispense an emergency prescription because it was "too hard" and told me I should not have run out of a medication I take everyday (try telling my GP who have sat on my repeat prescription for a week without approving). Only after insisting that I need the medication and convincing them I had proof of it on the NHS app was I dispensed some pills. Staff are completely incapable of dealing with patients in a helpful manner.

Used to be such a good pharmacy. Now no one answers the phone, they have endless queues and they've messed up my repeats twice. It's clear they're chronically understaffed. Shame really.

Closed when they?re supposed to be open and I needed a prescription. Lloyds doesn?t let you pick up at another Lloyds pharmacy even though there is one across the street. If you can?t count on your pharmacy, what?s the point?

Never can get hold of the pharmacy via phone. They don?t give out all prescriptions despite having them all, close early at random times and understaffed.

I called in today to collect a prescription that had been sent through from my GP surgery. The prescription was not ready and the pharmacist seemed to not be coping well with backlog of orders. I witnessed her being very rude to an elderly gentleman in front of me and shouting that he should always bring the paper card for repeats with him. She told him in no uncertain terms to come back after half an hour. It was not pleasant listening to the way she spoke to him. I returned approximately 3 hours later and she then launched an attack at me stating that my GP surgery had only just sent the request through today. I could only go by the information on Systmonline that was provided. I requested that she stop arguing and just let her colleague take my money so that I could leave the premises. I informed her that I had witnessed her being rude earlier in the day for which she was unapologetic. I then told her that I would no longer be sending repeat prescriptions to 41 Bancroft to which her reply was ?that?s fine!?. I wholeheartedly back the NHS and staff who are under pressure but there is no need for rudeness and arrogance in front of other customers waiting. I have already contacted my surgery and asked that they send my repeats elsewhere.
