These guys are our go to bank for getting change for my place of work and the staff are always super friendly. Sometimes you do have to queue up for a little while, but usually if this is the case then a member of staff tries to shorten it by redirecting people that don't necessarily need to queue for the main counter.

Ive been banking with lloyds for 41?Ive been banking with lloyds for 41 years and today is the day I've decided they're so far behind their competitors I'm changing banks.Ive given up 6 or 7 times over the last 12 months after waiting an hour for my call to be answered and having to hang up in frustration when I can't get a response. Today I was on the phone 5 1/2 hours and my problem, an Apple credit subscription that needed cancelling, the amount a tiny £4.99 per month but today I decided the way I've been treated by lloyds over the last few years is simply not alright, and they're never going to level up their business services and have fallen so far behind other banks. To conclude they gave me £70 compensation and £60 call charges but no amount of money is worth the stress, being pushed around 6 or 7 different members of staff and in the end they still couldn't conclude my request and could only give me an email address to write to. Sorry Lloyds after 41 years, multiple accounts, I'm not putting up with this anymore and off to Natwest. Im so sad to find myself taking this action but simply can't stand this incompetence anymore.

I went to bank today which was supposed to be open at 9am. After waiting until 9.30am in the cold and still no sign of it opening, I gave up. There was no notice up to say it wasn't opening and nothing on website. A wasted journey for me. Pity,as staff are helpful,when you can get through the door.

Interestingly most UK banks ask for hardcopy of utility bills at a time when e-bills are the norm. Luckily I found this Lloyd's branch and they helped me open a current account on the same day itself using e-bills. Club Lloyd account looks a very good one and Internet banking and mobile app are very easy to use.
