A must visit salon.A really personable place to go get pampered, I go for my hair to be coloured, (treatment) wash & cut by Karelle, however all the stylists are great!They do every beauty treatment you could want/need, nails seems to be very popular, I've booked a pedicure for my holiday & I'm going to try a massage next too so will review again after that.Karelle has been looking after my hair for 7 years and brought it back from extremely damaged to beautifully shiny and strong, Im never disappointed.They have a wide choice of refreshments, non-alcoholic & alcoholic & specialist coffees and teas.Their appointment system is helpful with online arranging and rearranging of appointments with reminders sent out however you want them.

Have not been coming to 'the rooms' for long however this salon is great, the staff are lovely and friendly.I have however had my hair cut by Karelle for years and this time i decided to get my hair dyed professionally for the first time. Karelle did a balayage and spent hours on it, it's beautiful and so skillfully done! I also have thick Asian hair so it's definitely not easy to work with.Definitely recommend Karelle to anyone and have done in the past! I thought this was a good salon, I made an appointment weeks before it was due. Only to find out that it was booked incorrectly. My name was spelled incorrectly, my email address was wrong, my appointment time was wrong. Someone even asked me if I was able to rebook when I had already taken annual leave for this booking. What a shame, I was planning on being a regular customer. This business is managed terribly. Such a waste of my time. This appointment was made out to be such a hassle. Staff having to change their appointments to fit me in when I had already made a booking weeks before. Then saying they?ve got to ring other customers to ask them to change their bookings. Good grief, not my idea of a good time that was meant to be relaxing and peaceful!!Service: Acrylic nails

While I can't speak for the hairdressing (I'm follicly-challenged), I can definitely recommend the delicious coffee on offer here. A fabulous flat white for only £2.00 and super-friendly service. I shall have to visit the launderette next door more often :)

I have been seeing Fran for my treatments at The Rooms for years. The salon is friendly & welcoming. Fran does an amazing range of treatments from nails, waxing, massage, reflexology to lipofirm. She is professional and great at her job. Amy mainly looks after my hair and does an amazing job and Daisy the other hairdresser is great too. Get yourselves booked in.
