Very disappointed with the curry I ordered, it was supposed to be a chicken tikka masala but all it tasted of was coconut so overpowering I thought I was eating a bounty minus the chocolate and it was totally the wrong colour a tikka is meant to be orange but this was tandoori red, sadly I will never be going back but if you like coconut curry then this is the place to go.

Anyone with celiac disease would know the drill of asking 101 questions to avoid gluten crumbs and contamination before making an order. This takes trust and caution. Despite being assured that my chicken korma shared with my mum was gluten free and the the kitchen would be made aware, I returned home with awful abdominal pain which only feels like gluten poisoning every celiac dreads. Celiac disease is an auto-immune condition, not an intolerance or allergy. An apology doesn?t make up for the severe pain I?m in and days of recovery to come. What?s the point of the gluten free symbol on the menu? Whilst this is a convenient place for family get togethers in the village, I unfortunately have to recommend fellow celiacs to avoid.

First time ordering from here. Was not dissapointed. Great quality food, fresh salad with the starters, always a good sign! but most importantly, the curries themselves were excellent. Worth a try!

After trying all of the Indian take away restaurants in the Borehamwood/Elstree/Radlett area I must tell you that this one in London Colney is by far the worst. Bland boring food. By far inferior to anything I have had before. Sorry but that is the honest truth.Plus points They seemed very nice people, the food arrived on time at a fair price and it was edible.

Sadly, the food was bland and the sauces very thin and watery. Had a chicken saag, a biryani and a korma.The naan had a hair in it.3 stars as the spicing was accurate, unlike some takeaways.

LOVELY! As an Indian myself I have struggled to find a restaurant that really have authentic Indian/Bangladeshi dishes and matched the flavours of my country but this restaurant really did that. The waiters were very polite and greeted me and my family really well. They told me about their struggles and everything they went through and fought to keep that restaurant open. Sadly the previous owner had suddenly passed away and as I have been going there for a couple of years now I knew how amazing the man was. Now their young and brave children are fighting to keep the restaurant running which is absolutely amazing and I hope them the best and success. If you are ever near colney then definitely hit the place up and have a word with the current owner if they?re around or workers and listen to their back story. This is definitely my go to from now on.

Called in after being turned away by a local pub due to their kitchen not being open on a Monday (allegedly). Called in around 20:30 and was greeted straight away. The food arrived promptly and was plentiful and delicious.

The owner took excellent care of us at a late dinner time, and it was a memorable experience. He was incredibly kind, the food was amazing, large portions, and he was pleasant to speak with. He even drove us back to our hotel instead of having us wait for an Uber. I am from Canada, and was traveling with my mum who was originally from England, and the story of my night and this restaurant is one that I have shared with many friends and colleagues. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Absolutely gorgeous our waiter had the best hairstyle ever but the food was very very tasty,all 4 of us felt the same very relaxed food scrummy,give it a try if don?t like you don?t go back simples!

Having been a customer here for over 20 years the restaurant then changed hands and I shied away. Having visited with friends last night I can only say the service and food was fantastic and I will be visiting again soon. Happy customer . Ed
