I bought a pair of frames in the store only to find they didn't fit too well when i got home...I tried to get a refund when I returned to the store...surprised to hear that they will not refund the money I paid...the owner was rude and not helpful at all...i am now seeking advice...avoid avoid avoid....

Bloody brilliant.I did some research online, dived into the Goodge Street shop for a chat and a quick try-on. Had to dash, so bought the frames online a couple of days later. Delivered for free the very next day. Absolutely perfect service; cool, affordable frames that seem really well made. Top stuff all round

Great, distinctive selection of specs and sunglasses. I receive compliments on a daily basis from colleagues and clients for the style I wear! The company's founder and designer, Robert Roope, is a respected name in the industry and lovely gentleman. There is really no other place to go for your eyewear!

Black Eyewear is the creation of optician and life long jazz devotee, Robert Roope. Having spent 50 years working as an optician, Robert moved into designing his own eyewear in 2006. His passion for eyewear design was born out of a wish to rescue the bold, iconic eyewear styles of the 50s and put modern design back on the map.
