We had an awesome time at the Blacksmiths Arms. We went for a family lunch, and watched a bit of the darts on the screens. The chicken meals were cooked to perfection. We had a minor slip up with one of the orders but that was quickly rectified. And they have done an excellent job of catering for people with food allergies/intolerances.

So happy to see Yestie Boys on tap, been wanting to try some of their beer for ages so chuffed to bits about that. Other than that, lovely outside garden area which I'll definitely be back to

Visited on a dreary Monday for a pitstop lunch on our way elsewhere. A charming local pub found in the centre of St Albans, the Blacksmiths Arms is the perfect place to stop for a relaxing drink, with a superb selection of cask ales and ciders. With the best garden around and excellent sports coverage, this is a local favourite.
