Although it's a big chain , service is slacking. I visited them at 5pm ,so 30mins before closing time. The cashiers were standing there and chatting with each other while I was at the counter. The girl I asked for help, she didn't know,was suggested to check online on their website ???. They don't allow in with dogs. Didn't have what I needed. The 1buy 2nd half cost wasn't applied on mix and match item I bought, perhaps prices aren't labelled correct....

Had an excellent experience in the shop today. Staff really helped with my request and had everything in stock and on offer. Special mention to Ricardo from the St Albans branch ? so friendly and helpful getting me set up with a loyalty card to get some extra savings.

Been a loyal customer @St Albans branch for years but now I?ve been overcharged for items and no refund in sight. After my purchase it took them 30minutes to sort out a refund which is not showing in my account. Poor service and appalling customer service to a loyal patron. Disappointed

Went in to see what was here. At first I thought things were really expensive, then I checked online and found that some stuff was cheaper than even there! I guess you get what you pay for.

I ordered an item of balm on 25 March. I paid £20.49 to include delivery. I got an e-mail last Sunday asking me to score the item, as yet not received. I tried e-mailing & got a canned reply. I tried calling twice for a total of 24 mins. No-one answered the call. I checked my order ?delivered? -no it?s not. This is appalling customer service. With the long-standing reputation of Holland & Barrett I would have thought they would value their customers more than the disgusting customer service I?ve received.

UPDATE: The store has improved a lot! They are very friendly now and seem to enjoy helping people. I actually enjoy coming in here now. The music is also very calming inside the store.(My old one star review)If you come into the shop lacking knowledge about health products, the staff will let you know in a very condescending manner that you should already know everything before coming into the store. Staff at the cash register are slow, disrespectful and more focused on chatting to each other rather than working.
