The floor had not been cleaned - there were bits and debris all over the bathroom floor and the carpet in the bedroom. Definitely not vacuumed prior to me, so I just felt a little grubby the whole time I was there. My room was also freezing when I checked in at about 6pm (in March) - not sure why they couldn't have had the heating on in advance of me arriving. The restaurant was closed for dinner due to flooding (no one's fault) so I drove into town instead, but it was reopened for breakfast and was decent enough.Probably won't return in a hurry due to the state of the room.

We stayed here for 2 nights. At check in I asked when I needed to let them know about having the room cleaned after the first night and was promptly told that we couldn't have our room cleaned after the first night as they had 40 rooms leaving in the morning and only had 4 cleaners. I was taken a back by this so instead asked for clean towels for the second day, which we were then given. The shower gel in the shower was so watered down, it was basically just waterBoth nights the TV randomly turned itself on at 1-20 am.When I checked out, I was asked if everything was ok. I said not really and let the different receptionist know about our stay. She apologised and said our room should have been cleaned. Our stay fell far short of what you expect from Premier Inn.

A bit in the middle of nowhere, good food. Good value for money. Beds are too soft.

What has happened to Premier Inn breakfasts? They keep serving diluted orange instead of fresh and the hash browns would make good door wedges!Food & drinks: The menu is awful, nothing healthy to eat.

The only negative things were both the bed and the bath were way too high!!. I am under 5ft, or only 148cm and it shouldn't be difficult in a hotel room to get into bed or in the bath for a shower!!

It's always been an excellence experience staying here. A million thanks to Laura Jones who has always made my stay feel like home, with her smiles, care and joyful reception.

Great place to stay, wonderful location straight off the motorway and central for most places. Room was basic but clean and adequate. Cleaning service if requested with clean sheets and towels. Price was great to stay for 6 nights.

We booked this hotel for its location near the Warner Bros studio and it was wonderful. Laura the receptionist on duty gave us a very warm welcome and is a real credit to the team! The room contains all of the usual amenities, kettle with tea and coffee along with a hairdryer, although we did have a problem with the extractor fan in the bathroom dripping in the morning. We reported it to the hotel as we were leaving but it was a minor inconvenience as we only stayed the night.Breakfast in the morning was across the road in the Beefeater with a selection of continental (pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast) or full English (sausage, bacon, eggs in four different varieties, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown, black pudding and beans) which also included the continental options. This plus unlimited tea, coffee and juices was a great way to start the day!Location was also good, being just off the motorway, but we didn't hear a thing. We would definitely return to explore St Alban's.Noteworthy details: Parking is free but you must register at the check in desk when you arrive to ensure that you are listed in the system. There is also a charging port (for additional cost from what I could see) in the car park at the back for electric cars.

Accomodation was great, reception great, breakfast setting in morning in lovely old Mill building, but then the farce began. For this review please see Beefeater as they are a seperate organisation and shouldnt reflect on Premier Inn staff and facilities which were excellent.

Hello, I was at the hotel on December 10-12. The room was clean, everything was fine. Regarding the reception, I just wanted to say that the lady who worked there at the time was very, very nice, which is really rare.

Waking up in Premier inn hotel after a good nights sleep that we would expect, remembering i have an eat as much as i like breakfast to attend, belly rumbling with excitement, to find the portion to be worthy for a squirrel and coffee machine wouldn't operate past two drinks with the message to call an assistant yet again pops up, no cups stocked, croissants are out, then your table gets cleared so fast whilst waiting on the coffee machine yet again, that you don't have the chance to say ' I'm not finished' well you don't even get asked either, as the moment your turn your head, oh your juice has gone, need not say, a tomato, and one mushroom, was ok, the beans seemed to be last week's reheated 7 times, and the egg was edible if you like them with plenty of calcium, we had the impression as customers we are not welcome and they certainly don't want you to be there eating their food, overall the best thing about it was leaving and seing a kingfisher outside catching a better breakfast in the river.

This area is really nice for a premier inn.The staff are very friendlyThe rooms are not the newest and not the cleanestBut overall it's okay.I wouldn't stay for the rooms. I would stay for the area

This place should close its doors. They struggle with basic customer service skills. There has been an odd smell in the room for the four nights I have stayed here. They missed cleaning the room two out of the three days. The restaurant is disaster as well. Water downed drinks, slow service and cold food.
