I have been using this pharmacy for repeats for over 10 years. I get a lot of medicine being a type 1 diabetic. I was triaged to a pharmacist for treatment of a UTI. I was told I had to take cystopurin first and if that didn't work to come back. Despite there being no evidence that they do anything and me being diabetic. The drink caused my BG to rise to 20 which is not going to help a UTI as bacteria thrives on glucose. The next day i went to my local pharmacy(Not asda) and explained the situation. She told me that my GP shouldn't have triaged me to a pharmacist and that Cystopurin is not part of the pathway. They usually just prescribe antibiotics, but in my case she couldn't as I'm type 1 diabetic. She contacted my GP and got me an urgent appointment. Why was asda pharmacy flogging me this product which not only cost me £6, but was harmful and not even appropriate treatment?I will not be using asda pharmacy anymore.

Very rude member of staff. I went to get a prescription for my son, I stood waiting for a few minutes while the pharmasist was chatting away with someone who looked like a friend. 2 other people joined the queue after me and was just as frustrated. She refused to acknowledge the 3 of us waiting. I even sat on the bench while their conversation continued hoping to be noticed and she didnt even look in our direction. I eventually had to ask to be served and when I did I was met with hostility, dirty looks and she was very defesive and rude toward me. Both herself and the customer/friend. She eventually took my prescription paper and when returning it to me she flicked it toward me with a dirty look. Disgusting woman. I won't be going back. I have photo evidence too. Awful experience won't be returning. Ever.

Was in extreme discomfort from a swollen throat and hardly able to swallow. Contacted NHS 111 out of hours as 3pm on Sunday and was awaiting a call back. In the interim I visited ASDA Pharmacy before closing at 4pm in hopes there would be a good throat spray I could use. I was offered Difflam and as my wife had similar symptoms coming on so thought the pharmacist would know best. I purchased 2 bottles as recommended for these symptoms. When seen by a doctor on Monday I was diagnosed with severe tonsillitis which would be unaffected by Difflam. I had opened 1 bottle which did nothing to eleviate the symptoms whatsoever after a few sprays. Very disappointing results. I tried a few other times but still no relief. Having never used the second Difflam I visited the pharmacy after my symptoms were cured by antibiotics to see if i can return the unused bottle. I was greeted with a swift no refund or exchange despite explaining my situation, i was treated as if my purchase was entirely my fault despite being wrongly sold it in the first place. Being £8.09 a bottle totalling £16.18 I was not impressed. I shall never use this pharmacy ever again. Staff seem nice but quickly become rude and uncooperative. Not a nice experience. Not a recommended pharmacy if you need advice as they do not recognise symptoms or even ask what you intend to use it for or anything such as alergeries or existing medication. I recommend going to Superdrug, far better service and respect for customers. They follow stricter guidelines where ASDA Pharmacy just doesn't seem to at the same standard I have come to expect.

Extremely slow service, even when not busy. Never have the right items. Rude staff.

Please teach your pharmacy staff what a hearing loop is for and how to work it.recently they mistook my pointing to the loop sign for just being impatient i think. Wouldn't happen if i was in a wheelchair probably. Thanks

Extremely slow service. I stood 20 minutes at the counter desk waiting for the dispense ladies to even notice me. They were sat at the back, laughing, joking and having a good time. After giving my prescription to them I was told to wait 15 minutes ( there was no one else waiting when I arrived).I ended up waiting 30 minutes even though my medication was packaged and ready to collect after 5 minutes. One of the dispense ladies placed the bag on the counter and then started serving other customers. Eventually one of the ladies finished work and on her way out she shouted to the other that the prescription which was laying on the counter was mine. This was not my first negative experience with Asda pharmacy. They rarely have anything in stock and serving the customer is quite chaotic as if none of the staff knew what they were doing.

Most time medicine is unavailable if its available its long waiting. Customer service in Stevenage Asda store is excellent but pharmacy service is very bad.
