“We went in The works today what a lovely shop and such a variety of toys, study books, joke books, painting arts and crafts so cheap. A wide selection too. The walls were decorated by the staff with arts and crafts to show what cld be made:) Staff obviously work hard there and take pride in their shop:)Thank you to Amanda who served us she was really helpful and friendly ?We will be back soon! Went back and saw Holly she was a customer service star too, all great staff?”

“They have everything you might need for school, office or just personal use. But I must warn you the prices are a bit higher and always look out for vouchers codes or you can check other places. The shop is big but they need to organize properly cos the things are all over the place.”

“I admit that prices can be higher than usual sometimes (they probably check ebay etc) but everything is in good condition, and most importantly the staff are nice and friendly. I've been going there for 5 years now and it really makes a difference when you are greeted with a friendly face. They often put things aside for me and to be honest it's a charity and business at the end of the day. I've been able to haggle on prices too. It's really a good place to go.”
