My wife and I had an absolutely terrible experience with the footwear supervisor and some pretend store manager who have NO IDEA how to treat customers. Stubborn, childish and clearly dissatisfied with their jobs, with no consideration whatsoever.As a customer who has dropped well over £1k in a visit, I would expect some courtesy in EXCHANGING (not even returning because it is NOT ALLOWED at this store...go figure). the shoes were in unworn perfect condition, the box was undamaged. The ONLY gripe was that my infant had scribbled on the box. But no...the box is deemed unsellable, and even if thats the case, there is no way of getting another box from the thousands in the warehouse to replace it with...however the trouble was not that - the manager was an obnoxious narcissist with the most childish responses every time i questioned his lack of policy and double standards, eventually quoted as saying "you're going to keep asking questions? this conversation is OVER" and had the audacity to actually not address the concern further.TO THE SPORTS DIRECT MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING TEAM - if this is how your staff behave, then you are going to lose a lot more customers that just MYSELF!!Absolutely terrible customer service and would have given 0* if possible. Should be ashamed of yourselves!

Absolute snakes. I went in looking for shoes for my father, soccer / football shoes. I told the store clerk anything from £50 - £100,So in his mind he finds the newest item, knowing full well that their company will never, and mean EVER. Refund you the money back they only offer a swap or a credit note.So he takes me to the till and charges me £144.99 for the shoe, and even tried to snake his way in adding another £10 - £20 on top of it because again. He knows I'm not getting my money back for this.If there was an option to take stars away from this place, boy you know I would be one of the thousands looking to do that, but since you can't. You'll have a one star review and someone telling all your future customers to buy online.Go into their store, waste their time because they want to convert you into a sale. You are just dollar signs to these people at the end of the day.

Poor service, no professional stuff, doesn?t know anything when you ask for advice. Waiting for so long for someone to assist you with a size even if to call someone - no one is coming!!! So poor service !!!

Terrible service in the women's sneaker sector.After 20 min. I found a blond boy and asked for 3 types of sneakers with my number, he looked at them and said that he would bring me only 1, he disappeared somewhere in the store and did not return, after another 20 min. a rude girl appeared and I asked for my sneaker number, she brought me 1 sneaker and also disappeared somewhere.So I wasted 1 hour in the store to try on 1 sneaker and didn't buy anything because I need sneakers but there is no one to serve me.They walk and hide in the big store, without being useful to the customer, maybe they should work on a percentage of the sale to have an interest in serving better and selling

Awful. Minimally staffed with people that couldn?t care less. Very rude staff. Messy displays and fixtures, unappealing product offering. Good luck returning product to because the returns policy is shameful.

Difficult to find things.It is a ridiculous long store. The till is placed all the way at the back of store - ridiculous! At least place a till at the front! Can't find staff to assist find things

Would give zero stars if I could.Do not expect service if you enter this store any less than half an hour before closing.I asked to check if they had the right size shoe for my son, and I got shouted at from across the store that they dont in the style chosen. Turned round to choose the second choice, and when turned to ask staff, she was gone. When she reappeared 10 minutes later, she was told she's not going to look for any more shoes.Told her been waiting for her, and she scoffed, saying, "yea right." ( The store is welcome to check cctv.) I then had to tell my already disappointed son that he wasn't even getting his second choice because the people employed to their job are refusing to serve customers desite it being at least 20mins before closing.When I questioned if their head office knew of this policy, her reply was, "I dont care." Wonder how Mike Ashley feels about staff refusing customers service.

Regrettably disappointed with my recent experience at this store. I've been a regular shopper here, but a recent return attempt left me feeling utterly let down. I purchased a Nike jacket and tracks with the confidence they'd fit perfectly, only to realize after removing the tags that the sizing wasn't right.Upon attempting to return the items, I was met with a frustrating response. The staff examined the jacket and tracks, refusing the return on the grounds that they were not in 'sellable' condition. The only reason to it being the tags were taken off (but in good condition). Nowhere in their policy did it explicitly state this crucial detail about tags.The lack of transparency or clear indication about tag requirements before purchase feels like a betrayal of trust. If tags were essential to be fixed for returns, why weren't they upfront about it? The refusal to accept the return solely due to this oversight felt like a rip-off.This experience leaves me reconsidering my loyalty to this store. Clear and upfront communication about return policies is essential to prevent customers from feeling misled and disappointed. I hope my feedback prompts them to reconsider and improve their policies for future customers.

Plenty of expensive quality stock. Unclear where to find cheaper brands as they were quite well hidden until you approached price tags.

I bought a puma finesse LL TF Sn00 boots and when I tried it from the store it was oke. But when I take it to the turf after a week it was hell of a pain. Just used it for 1 time and when I tried to return it after a week they wouldn't accept it for an exchange. The manager was not even sorry about the experience happened for me and she was very rude. Never gonna comeback again to the store and will never suggest to any of them. Kind of a same case, When I bought climbing shoes from decathalon and which wasn't comfortable after using 2 times and I returned it back and they took it back without any issues. You guys should give priority to customer satisfaction and not just about earning money.
