Its such a shame they shut so early for the winter. I've only managed to eat here once in April 2021 and it was really good, I normally come over at the end of October early November so miss out. People do visit the island out of season so it would be lovely if they opened just for lunchtime maybe, I'd be first in the queue.

not very happy, heard it was great here, drove all the way across the island, paid extortionate prices for parking, got to the door here and it?s bloody closed!! they should really update the opening hours online to avoid disappointment like this. says on google maps it?s open til 5pm every day but was extremely unhappy to see it?s closed for the season now.

A very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a very tasty breakfast in. Fantastic customer service as well. I always look forward to eating at this lovely cafe. Highly recommended A+++++

Friendly staff and fast service. Food took minutes to arrive after ordering and everything was cooked well and piping hot. Amazing views as well.

To be honest the food was edible but the menu choices are terrible ? burgers and chips, nuggets and chips, sandwiches and jacket spuds? This is a restaurant with a prime location for a wonderful seafood menu with the freshest fish and wonderful sea views yet we get offered what's basically kids food. Big shame so much potential income lost for the owner, get a proper chef in with skills and they will turn that place right around. Could be one of the best seafood restaurants on the island.

Stopped in on our way home from The Needles. Weather was appalling which was disappointing but we stepped inside and were made to feel really welcome. Had a lovely family dinner. Service was fast but food all tasted great and was all freshly made. My children didn?t want to eat (just tired from a long day) but the staff were really friendly and made it fun for my little boy who ended up loving his sausage bap. Burger was fab and was a pleasant surprise to be able to order alcohol here too so I even got to have a glass of wine with dinner. Which was just a nice touch. Perfect end to a great day. Highly recommend!

Great views - very average breakfast! We arrived off an early ferry absolutely starving and I ordered the veggie breakfast which comprised of hash browns, fried eggs, beans, tomato and mushrooms. Bit unusual that no veggie sausage is offered but the strangest thing was the very very small mushrooms that were served up and no more than 4 on the plate! It was hardly worth serving them up! Why so mean with the mushrooms?? The eggs were over cooked, the beans were cold and the hash browns didn?t taste like any hash brown I?d ever tasted. Beautiful view but Colwell Bay is a tired, scruffy place and we were glad it was a flying visit and not where we were staying!
