Huge store squeezed onto Newport High Street. This was originally BHS and should have some kind of plaque to say it was the site of the first escalators on the Isle Of Wight (Mid 90s so not very historic). The store looks a bit tired and worn out but stocks everything you would ever need. Food, soft furnishing, lighting, bedding. There is a lift at the back of the store. It has two entrances at the front and back. Tills at each side. The staff are friendly and they do try and get staff on tills when queues build up. Its wheelchair accessible and sometimes a bit tricky to get round because of stock displayed on the floor but not too bad. Always worth a visit to see what they have.

all the usual household & garden products etc. at great prices, B&M never fails to impress with their range of inexpensive goods (chances are if you need something, they've got it!)

A wide range of stuff at a reasonable price. You have to navigate a maze to get to a till or the stairs/escalator to get upstairs. And it's always so hot upstairs! Not sure why they have trolleys upstairs because I've not found a way to get them downstairs to a till. Generally I don't know how they expect people to get big, heavy boxes from the store to their car.

Standard B&M trip really, nothing hugely wrong apart from taken 1 star off as every time an announcement is made over the tannoy I'd jump out of my skin as its SO unnecessarily loud! Really off-putting.
