Honestly, it was way better than I had expected from a staycation and my experiences as a child. The staff are welcoming, the caravan park well kept and clean. My little one loved the pool and little watersides. The static caravan we stayed in was pleasant and exceeded my expectations but only 4 stars as it was a little tired in a few places and could have done with a deep clean.Rooms: We stayed in a basic 3 bed static caravan, pleasant enough and good value for money. Enough storage for a few days of clothes and kids' toys doesn't feel like you're on top of each other, but we only had 5 out of a possible 8 in the caravan. The kitchen had basic amenities and utensils; we cooked breakfast, pancakes, and an easy evening meal.It was clean enough but could probably do with a deep clean to really make it stand out; few cobwebs and dusty blinds. Decor wasn't super modern, but not toonold fashioned.Nearby activities: Within the caravan park, there is a kids' playground and some grass areas, a bookable swimming pool, and other paid activities.Near the restaurant there's an arcade and other machines to spend some money. There's loads to do on the island itself and keep busy, but without a car, it'd be hard work with kids. There's a nice cafe at the local beach and a marina / harbour to explore further-a-field.Walkability: Within the caravan park, everything was walkable, and the nearest beach was close.Food & drinks: We ate at The Boathouse a few times, standard pub type menu. Easy ordering via the app.

A good clean holiday park. Our caravan was clean and well appointed. Amazingly we were able to cook a meal using the oven, from previous caravan parks the ovens usually struggle to defrost frozen roast potatoes. We forgot to mention one of our party had mobility issues so unfortunately had a caravan a short walk from the car and up a hill. We coped as the site has plenty of pathways suitable for wheelchairs although there are a few steep hills. Still worth mentioning if you are thinking of going. All the staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, one even offering to take our bags to the van in his buggy. This approached seemed to be the norm with all the staff. We wanted for nothing but I'm sure if we did they would have done everything they could to help out.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Michelle and Kevin and they continued to be very professional and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed at 6 bay view which exceeded all of our expectations from the cleanliness to the location and spec of the caravan. It suited us very well as we took our elderly mother and our dog Sid on holiday. Everyone on site was extremely friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend to anyone

Upon our arrival, we had encountered a few issues, but they were promptly resolved by the lovely Mia and her team. To be honest, the wonderful service we received from them surpassed the quality of the place itself.

Stayed in a holiday caravan. Not very good for disabled individuals as the park is hilly, not all caravans or chalets have a place next to them to park your car. There are car parks nearby, but as stated, they mean an incline when walking to them.

The caravan was a disabled, On arrival I trapped my fingers in the bathroom door and then the bedroom doors were sliding but felt like they were going to fall off as they could be pushed, I told reception and Joe from maintenance came over and he was brilliant he put foot stoppers on doors and all was feeling safe, thanks Joe.

Great place to go! Lovely chalet, swimming pool and entertainment! Bus stop is right outside the park so if you dont bring a car you can still get to places easily! Had a lovely time and will be coming back next year. Would 100% recommend going here if you want a nice little break!
