It took over a week to confirm my (fully paid upfront) booking after repeatedly asking for confirmation. In contrast, it took mere minutes for them to say my booking was fully non-refundable when I needed to cancel due to a family emergency, with 2 weeks notice.No effort was made to try and recover any part of the cost (for example by re-advertising at a discount) until I pressed really hard, by which time it was too late to realistically expect any interest. Basically happy to short change us out of more than £700 while keeping the property vacant.I am just one disgruntled customer among others apparently satisfied, but I wouldn't recommend booking with this agent if you anticipate needing any flexibility or help.

Just returned from a week family holiday at 3 Hilton Terrace in Gurnard, through the Wight holiday company.The booking process was easy, communication prior to our holiday was very good, Sara answered any questions we had very quickly. The accommodation was perfect, fantastic location, very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival the added gesture of coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the fridge was very welcome and a pleasant surprise. I would recommend the Wight holiday company to anyone and 3 Hilton Terrace is a little gem of a property. Will certainly be using them again in the future. Thank you.

We booked a lovely holiday home Wootton Bridge Cottage which was arranged by Sara. We have now booked several times using The Wight Holiday Company and they are fantastic. Quick to respond to emails and also arranged and booked our ferries. I would highly recommend the cottage we stayed in and also The Wight Holiday Company

We booked a lovely apartment in Ventnor through The Wight Holiday Company. The accommodation was exactly as described and Sara made the whole process very easy and provided all the information we needed including booking the ferry trip for us. Would happily recommend their services. Thank you!

Home from home accommodation in Ryde. Everything as described, close to very child friendly beach and town centre. Ideal for families due to location. Sara from The Wight Holiday Company extremely helpful and booked our Ferry for us. Will definitely recommend to friends and will use again ourselves.

We booked our accommodation in Sandown through The Wight Company in May 2018. We were impressed with the initial communication whilst looking to book the property, with all queries answered quickly. Sara also booked the ferry for us, which worked out much cheaper than if we'd booked it ourselves.The accommodation we stayed in (The Jetty) was just perfect- spotlessly clean, fresh bed linen, excellent pillows and duvets, well equipped kitchen and a wonderful hot tub. During our stay we had an issue with the washing machine, an engineer was sent out on the same day to fix it and when it happened the following day- the machine was replaced. Sara kept us updated throughout and reassure us that she would be present when the engineer visited the property.The accommodation had a very comprehensive folder compiled by the owners containing operating instructions for all appliances etc. The Wight Company had also provided a folder with really useful information about The Island, the property, beaches, places of interest and places to eat- fantastic!Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Wight Company to anyone looking for accommodation on Isle of Wight & we would also recommend The Jetty.

Really friendly and efficient booking process: Sara?s recommendation was spot on and she was excellent at communicating via email. Stayed in a lovely house (Fleming house) in Cowes which was in a perfect location for our young family. Only thing which would have made it better would be a welcome pack and more than two toilet rolls for the weeks stay! Prices were more reasonable than other companies and would definitely be booking through this company again.

Really easy to deal with, super efficient company. Nothing is too much trouble or a problem. Fast responses to enquiries and a speedy refund of deposit after the holiday. I travel a lot in the UK and overseas and wish all companies were as good as The Wight Holiday Company, I will certainly be booking through them again.

I stayed at the Great Escape property in Niton over Jul/Aug this year (2018); a super little place in a secluded, quiet and peaceful part of the island. The chalet is perfect for a single visitor or couple looking to explore this part of the island or as a base to visit further afield.Tastefully and stylishly decorated and laid out, it has all the amenities and conveniences you could need for a stay of this kind. Just off the island's coastal path and in walking distance of 3 local pubs and 2 beaches it really is an ideal spot, set among a 'Ventnor Botanical Garden-esque' plants, trees and natural space, with local wild and birdlife in abundance; highly recommended.*A mention for the Wight Holiday Company who were very responsive and helpful with queries, extending my stay and taking care of ferry booking changes; many thanks and will be back again for exactly what the name of this wonderful place offers the visitor.

Amazing, great communication from the word go, even with my silly questions!!! The house we rented was perfect, clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable, perfect location, home from home with a lovely welcome grocery pack.Would definitely use again, thank you for a great holiday

Super helpful! The lovely lady I spoke to went above and beyond to help me with a holiday-let emergency I was having. She didn't need to help as she did, but she made time for me out of her busy day and helped anyway! Amazing service, and a great company. Thank you :)
