Founded by Frank Jessops back in the mid-1930s, Jessops is retail photographic company with 56 stores across the UK. Although they entered administration back in 2013 and the future looked bleak, investment from Peter Jones kept the business going and they now seem to be back on their feet once more. In fact, the Oxford Street store gained huge attention at the reopening with many celebrities in attendance. Furthermore, there are now some Jessops branches within large Sainsbury's outlets.
In addition to all products camera-related, Jessops also offer a printing service for both traditional and digital cameras. With mini labs in tow, they promise printing within an hour. For customers willing to pay a little extra, their 'Express' service will have photos returned in just 25 minutes. Although they certainly had more stores before the brief collapse, the business is thriving once again under new ownership and this is set to continue.
