Really rude staff. Asked if I could add something to my order and was told very bluntly ?depends what it is? asked for one of the new iced whipped lattes and the girl rolled her eyes and gave a massive sigh. She then had to read how to make one. Clearly a big inconvenience to her. Won?t be returning!

It?s really nice place to have coffee and meet up. Nice and friendly staff. Always clean and tidy, I can higly recommend it to have quick coffee.

If the manager of Costa on Ashford road sees this, I would encourage you to invest in some training for your lazy and rude staff, clearly demotivated while they continue to gossip about customers behind the counter. Spending £4 on a coffee, I am expecting enhanced customer service. But no, instead I feel as if I am a nuisance to be here, which should NOT be experienced within the hospitality industry. Katie/Kathrine needs to smile. The ginger girl who has been here a while seems to take this job as some sort of joke. I will not be returning and I am surprised these people still work here after numerous complaints over the years. Even a smile would be appreciated. In addition to this, while the workers chat and giggle with customers (which is ok in moderation), dirty plates and cups are left on the tables. I don?t think the staff realise that this automatically makes a coffee shop appear unappealing and neglected. Costa is a huge chain, and this poor customer service will make it go downhill, irrespective of this only being one outlet. Please reinforce this to your staff. Thank you very much and I hope to see your customer service improve. Other than that, the toastie was great.

I walked into Costa and needed to use the bathroom before my friend bought her food and so i went to the toilet and was rudely shouted at before entering as i didn?t know there was a code. My friend then bought her food and i was sarcastically told to put food i had brung in into the bin when i left. I then used my friends code to go to the toilet and the staff then spoke about me behind my back infront of other customers using curse words. The service was appalling and staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. The server i believe that was extremely rude was Katie Marshall who could?ve been cleaning the dirty tables instead of making a customer feel uncomfortable.

Queuing to the door, only 2 young staff working - who were either stressed from over working, or hungover from New Year?s Eve celebrations - either way not so much as a smile. Seats we sat on were worn out and dirty - clearly no one had ever cleaned between the cushions. This store when it first opened was amazing - great friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Now it is seen as one of this coffee shops that doesn?t need to make an effort as they always will have business from the ?churn? of passing traffic. Saying that it is clearly less popular. If customers pay £3-£4 for a coffee there is an expectation to get an enhanced level of customer service and environment. Unfortunately neither is the case here.

I believe that Costa Coffee is not a patch on Caffe Nero. I only visit Costa if I have no other choice because its coffee is too bitter for me

Inconsistent and poor management has had a massive effect on this store lately but today the seating area was clean and tidy as was the service area. Freya and Lewis were welcoming, friendly and professional. It?s such a shame you have lost some good staff members lately please look after these two as they are a credit to The store.

I often drink a cappuccino at Costa when I am in the UK. The coffee was not up to the normal Costa standard. I threw half of it away then ordered an extra expresso, then it tasted how a normal Costa cappuccino should.
