The story of Marvin the Paranoid Android. I ordered the all day breakfast in the cafe using the self-service touch screen. In fast food chains, these are brilliant: quick and intuitive to use, but the Morrison's one was the exact opposite. It reminded me of Marvin, the paranoid android in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!First I selected breakfast - all well and good, then I tried to order coffee. The only options were decaffeinated and skinny, neither of which I wanted. As I stood there confused, a very helpful assistant said to press the decaffeinated and skinny buttons to continue as you could choose any option when you used the self-service coffee machine. Problem solved. It then asked me to put in a table number. I hadn't sat down yet so didn't know which tables were available. The very helpful assistant came back and said choose any table as you simply got a card which you placed on the table. Problem again solved. I pressed checkout and tried to pay, but the pay button was greyed out and my very helpful assistant was no longer there to help.I finally gave up on Marvin and decided to order at the counter. My helpful assistant turned up with a glint in her eye, suggesting she had witnessed this performance with many other customers. I ordered from her in less than a minute and my meal was delivered promptly to my table .The moral of the story is never to use Marvin in Morrison's restaurant, the humans there are much more intelligent and nicer!

Good local supermarket not too far from city centre, plenty of variety and parking onsite. Can get busy at times

Me and my 4 year old both got the runs after our food. Sadly she got it worse with a fever and vomitting. Won't be eating there again.

Much better now the layout has changed and the aisles are wider so easier to move freelu around thesupermarket.

Great store with a wide selection of products and services. I just wish they would stop changing the store around or at least give us a map so we aren't walking back and forth.

Always like shopping at the Canterbury Morrisons store the staff and especially the team at the Pharmacy are always friendly and helpful! They've moved much of the stock round over the last months which has caused some ruckus but I guess as I said to a team member today - nothing stays the same! Excellent fish & meat counters as well as cooked chicken counter too, good salad bar for those who try to eat healthy!Bakery is very helpful if you want a loaf sliced they're only too pleased to help! Never taken a photo inside so can't add one, but this time of year it's very busy with (Christmas) shoppers and their outside area is selling a brisk business in Christmas Trees!I'm in a mobility scooter and the staff are very accommodating but since the refurbished area it's tricky to self-check out and also to access items in their new refrigerator areas! I'm sure it makes the store less cold but if you're trapped at a low night like me it's a right pain!

I have recently had a terrible time with poor service from the lady with blue hair at the self checkout position, I requested to speak with the manager regarding an issue with one of my items and she rudely told me to go away and said it wasn?t her problem she didn?t care + also swearing

My friend and I went to Morrison's cafe for lunch today, we both decided to have scampi chips and peas, I was very hungry so could not wait to get some food inside me, we didn't have to wait to long as the meals came to the table we were so disappointed, the scampi was burnt the chips and peas were cold, I ate the meal because have problems with some food and I was very hungry, my friend ate a little bit and left a note on the plate say about the food was disgusting, when I was on my way out of the cafe I saw the cook and told her about it, all she said was sorry, looking back on it we should have asked for a money back, we will never return to Morrison's cafe for a meal, if anyone is thinking about going in for a meal, forget it and go some place that dose good food.

Popped in for a quick sandwich whilst waiting for the Pharmacy to reopen after lunch. Ordered a toasted festive sandwich which was pretty pricey at £4.50. Sat waiting for about 15 minutes, staff weren't busy as it was past any lunchtime rush and they were standing around talking so I went up to ask where my sandwich was, the lady gasped and ran into the kitchen - clearly she had forgotten it! When she bought it to my table she said its a bit done is that ok. It was seriously overtoasted to the point of being charred and the filling had gone really sloppy. I refused the sandwich and got a refund and went and got a takeaway sandwich, crisps and drink instead for £3.50!

The trays were really dirty had to is a wet wipe to clean .. wet wipe was black not cleaned in a while Tried looking for a clean tray .. yuck. Worried about ordering food .. what must the kitchen be like

Morrisons petrol and stores are very expensive selling much less saver brands,since new lay out cant find anything,only ever two tills open,hoping self service tills used I am not paid by morrisons to scan my shopping! Morrisons bosses should have asked their shoppers their preference,should be able to tell by very long queues that people dont want self service ,more card is a total waste of time ,need to spend £520 together £49 back,disgraceful
