The room was nice and the beds were very comfy as usual. The staff were so kind. They brought a birthday card and a bottle of Prosecco to my daughter as it was her 18th birthday. Thank you so much! The location is brilliant. A 5 minute walk into the centre of town

Great Premier Inn what more can you

Located only a short walk from the Cathedral (albeit under a walkway that the council want you to believe is safer than crossing the road - presumably an idea that was come up with by a man!), its also close to a Waitrose and Tesco Metro.Checked in using self service, which is fine by me, but had to go back down to reception to get my WIFI code from a human being. It wasnt worth the trip, even the 'ultimate' wifi that you get with the premier room or pay for with ordinany room was very poor in the room itself, ok in restaurant. Bad signal and kept dropping out.Apart from the wifi it was all great, especially considering the price. Clean room, decent size, bath quite high to step into so get an accessible room if you have any difficulties in that respect. Breakfast was fine too. Enough choice to keep you going. I am an early bird, at 7am on a weekend its quiet.

Very friendly staff to help sort off bedding due to a booking issue on Premier Inn website, rooms are meticulously cleaned with nice decor. Quiet rooms despite its convenient location.

Very convenient location to walk into town but limited parking at the hotel and was £11 for 24
We always stay and give premier inn hotels 5 * but unfortunately this one let the chain down .Ok for one night but as the windows don't open and no cleaning it was smelly after the 1st day,air conditioning doesn't solve it.It took over one hour to check in after 3pm as computers were down and no complementary drink while we wait.I really hope they sort out this hotel as Premier Inn is our go to hotel but this was disappointing.Walkability: So easy to walk everywhere from the hotel.

Room comfortable though a little tired. Breakfast good though ran out of options very quickly.

This was our second stay here. Its a bit tired and shabby in places. The staff are great. Food was a mixture. Breakfast was good, evening meal not so good. Part of our steak was grisly and unedible. This was dealt with swiftly and free dessert was given. As I've already said nothing is too much trouble for staff. Our bedroom was a little dingey and the curtains smelt of cigarette smoke, they needed a wash.

We have stayed here several times now whilst visiting family. All the staff were very nice and helpful. As usual a very comfy bed so a good night's sleep. We will be back......Nearby activities: 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and city centre.

A really nice hotel, went as family of 4 and stayed in quad room which was spacious and with comfy beds. Our room had a nice partial view of Canterbury Cathedral too.Breakfast was nice, standard. But the veggie sausage and especially veggie bacon was suspicious. Wouldn't bother ordering next time. You need to request your room to be cleaned at reception. Which we did, but it still wasn't cleaned. We asked around 1pm so might be worth doing first thing in the morning.Rooms: Nice spacious rooms for family. Good lighting too.Food & drinks: Nice few options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lots of options for food and drinks very close to the hotel too and a Tesco right next door.

I stayed here for a few days at the beginning of November and I won't be coming back. My main complain is that reception was always empty, so to check in I had to wait and when somebody came over they barely paid attention to me, when I wanted to request for my room to be cleaned I also had to wait at reception, and then my room wasn't cleaned until 3:30pm, which is way too late to get a room cleaned, and, finally, to check out I literally just left the room card at reception. Then, when it comes to the room, it was okay but a bit cold and I would have liked to ventilate by opening the window, as someone else comments. It was also clearly old and there were some marks here and there, and the only time I asked for it to be cleaned, again, it was cleaned too late and on a rush, so they basically made the bed and left (although I'm not blaming the staff for this). Finally, when it comes to the building itself, it's uncomfortable, as you've got to go upstairs whatever you do, and there were only two lifts, from which one of them wasn't working, which was upsetting. So, overall not a great experience and in comparison to other premier inns it needs an urgent renovation.
