I had some issues with opening a new bank account online. So I visited the branch and the lady at the reception was very helpful. And then I was redirected to meet one of the officers there, Sean. He was very helpful and polite. He sorted out my problems with ease. I was really happy and satisfied with the service provided by the Chatham branch. Once again I would like to thank Sean.

I'm a top Google Local Guide. I write it as exactly as it happens and what I see and experience. And this one is just bad.For a prestigious company or brand, their ways are strange and quite disrespectful. Or is it because I'm of an African heritage and some type of premium accounts I can't open? Nonsense.Got me here for a booking. Was asked to sit for over 30min after our booking time (OK no worries, maybe they're busy). Went through the applications for a new account and that took forever (I was there for almost 2 hours, am I seeing the Pope?). Then I have to be the one chasing the branch to know if my application was successful or not. At the point of writing this, it's now over 3 weeks or so.I know I gave them 2 stars (but it could have been one or zero) but there was a lady at the reception, she's a good woman and friendly and deserves her stars. Honestly, the rests of the reviews on here, are shocking. So I'm not the only one.Barclays management needs to sort you guys out and remember that, the customers are what makes a business exists.

Horrible bank and even more horrible branch. Tried to use them and they only lied to me and gave me headaches. Tried to close the account and they?re making it even more difficult. Use this bank only if you have time and money to waste.

Great branch I?ve worked here as security during pandemic. The people and drunks and homeless can get aggressive in this branch beaware but the staff and management very respectful and helpful happy with banking with them

Disgraceful counter servic closes 14.00 2 counter staff 15 waiting. Been here 20 mins still 4 in front. 1 person at counter whole time I"ve been in queue.

She?s mainly dealing with irritated local customers because no one is working behind the counter.\\n\\nBarclays online chat is terrible.\\nYour call centres are the same, due to queues so why should a local branch also let you down? Very poor service.

Love this branch. The staff are always smiley, friendly and helpful. Yea, sometimes the queues are longer than you?d hope, but there are staff milling about to see if they can help rather than the counter staff

Absolutely Rubbish service only one person in the bank . Waited 1 hr to sort something out !!!! Out of order !!!!! Avoid if you can or simply change he the bank ?
