Poor customer service, the one who inspects and installs the battery doesn't even know the price and said hefty price just to ignore the customer and then he says he can't fix the battery if it fits under the seat.

Excellent customer service! Needed to get a front bulb and rear plate bulbs replaced quickly on my Nissan Note. Bulbs purchased and fitted within 15 minutes and this included a free 10 point health check. Polite and helpful staff that solved my problem fast, even on a Saturday morning without an appointment.

Halfords Motoring Club - do not join!! Booked free MOT as one of benefits, garage cancelled on morning of appointment, offered another date after MOT had expired! Impossible to speak with anyone via Chat on website as won?t let you past virtual agent, sit for hours trying to get thru on phone. Membership auto renews and no way of getting through to them to cancel. Worse than getting thru to energy companies!! Avoid or waste hours trying to contact them!

Micheal at the bike sales and service desk was so so helpful when it camedown to fix my sons electrical scooter that unfortunately got a puncture on Christmas day this has made my sons day and my family's day there was a rumour from the ather service staff that halfords will not touch it but micheal done it without hesitation using common sense and empathy thankyou ? can we please have more micheal working at halfords can't wait to return to store.

Conveniently based and also a great place to get bits for my bike!Had a flat on my way home, stopped off here and managed to get back riding in about 20 minutes!Speedy service and nice staff.

Tragic. Never ordering from here again. Ordered a battery for a home delivery and the order never came & disappeared from tracking system. As if it wasn?t worse enough waiting to wait 7 days for a delivery, the order doesn?t come. Had to go into store where the product price was even more expensive than what online stated???? Although the staff were more friendly in store & helped me, Halfords is trash. Going to dispute this transaction. Save your money, time and energy and go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service sending customers down stairs to a queue of 6 to pay when looking to buy products up stairs because they was too busy with 1 customer and was going to be a while taking about a tyre joke !

The fitter that worked on my car is the laziest human being that I have ever seen at the cost of £8 for each number plate, totalled £16. He was so lazy to the extent of insisting that he would not remove the sticker for the old number plate rather prefer to put new stickers on the old one to hold the number plate. Despite that I asked him to remove them. I would not recommend anyone to pay ridiculous amount to get poor service.

We visited the Dartford store looking for a bike for my granddaughter. Initially, we were impressed with the assistant that talked us through our options. He was very knowledgeable. Whilst we were considering our choice, he went on his break and we dealt with his colleague. A bike was brought out from the warehouse for her to try, and we decided it was a good fit for her, but wanted a new boxed bike, to be built on site. Having been advised that if it was held until Christmas, it would be stored, built, in the warehouse and no guarantee could be given that no damage would occur, we decided to collect the following week.When we arrived, the prebuilt bike was brought out for us, not our new one. This bike had been built and stored 5 months previously. We were advised that they had our bike and we would need to return at another time, once it was built. This was not convenient. We spoke to the store manager, who was dismissive and rude. He did agree to built the bike while we waited. We were made to feel that we were being difficult and fussy. At no point did we receive an apology for the inconvenience.

Bought a halfords advanced toolbox which was damaged. I went back to the store with the heavy box in my boot. I asked a senior member of staff if they would pop outside the front door to check the damage, before lifting the heavy box into the store. I was booked in for a fitting appointment for some bizarre reason? 20 minutes later I'm still waiting. Terrible customer service and a lack of common sense from the senior staff member. Talia saw me looking frustrated and instantly came to help me. Great customer service from her, she should be promoted.

Cannot give more them more than 1 atar . As I visited the dartford store back in December to buy some wiper blades. One fell off after 10 months after I bought them . Dartford store couldn?t do anything as they didn?t fit them. I am mechanical engineer with City and guilds qualification I don?t need someone else to do a simple job like this . Unimpressed Halfords , very poor customer service
