Picture this, 8 weeks ago we ordered a £2300 sofa after finding one we liked in their Bluewater store, we went home and ordered it online. Roll the clock forward to today which is meant to be the delivery day (which was booked two weeks ago). This morning we wake up to an text stating there is a problem with our order and the delivery team will be in touch soon. We hear nothing?.. we then phone and get through to an oversees member of staff who is very unhelpful and says someone will call us back within 24 hours?. Still no idea what has happened to our sofa?. We then google John Lewis phone numbers and then get through to a very helpful lady called Teresa who works within their suppliers team. She managed to get the sofa booked in for us four days later. My questions are; why do John Lewis believe it is acceptable to hold onto their customers money and delay delivery? Why do they then believe it is acceptable to not contact you about delayed delivery?We are currently without a sofa until John Lewis kindly decide we deserve delivery.I can firmly guarantee that I will NEVER be buying anything from the John Lewis Partnership for the rest of my life.I feel like John Lewis have stolen from us.

Just had a great experience. Susan was the customer care assistant, she is an asset to the company. She gave us a full detailed explanation of all the available products and what would be suitable for us.

Anne and Christina in the homeware section went over and above to help me find some candles which I really needed for an event I had coming up. They were helpful, friendly and spent time in trying to help me. I can?t give high enough praise. Thank you again

I went to John Lewis Bluewater a few months ago for an appointment with a Personal Shopper. They helped me choose accessories to go with my wedding dress. Very very helpful and friendly service who gave perfect recommendations. Thank you!

A very helpful shop assistant helped me choose a perfume today on the Chanel counter. With such an array of choice I was finding it difficult to find something I really liked. After trying a good selection I finally found what I wanted. JohnLewis always have a good selection of quality and novel gifts. Free parking as well.

Upgraded to 3 star as John Lewis were quick to get in touch and rectify the situation.Tried to exchange a rucksack I bought a few months ago as the seam had split. I didn't have the receipt but under the sale of goods act a bank statement as proof of purchase should be good enough. However when I tried to exchange it I was completely shut down. I had 3 sales assistants and 1 manager refuse to accept a bank statement as proof of purchase because it did not prove that I had bought that specific item. Whilst they were not rude they did not budge and refused anything I said and I felt quite intimidated. Customer service used to be a really good aspect of John Lewis but this experience was really poor. Just be aware that if you try to return something without the receipt they will treat you poorly.Really disappointed John Lewis, you cab do so much better.

Diane on the baby?s department has been incredibly helpful. We?ve been numerous times now asking questions & advice as first time parents, she has remembered us by name & been incredibly friendly & helpful. She has made our experience shopping for our baby so much easier & less overwhelming for us. We recommend her.

Incredible store! The customer service is absolutely amazing! I visited this store the very first time (as I just moved into this area), and am literally impressed of how they are managing the store.The ladies from the 1st floor (perfume section) are very helpful and I was greatly impressed by the knowledge they have. Special greeting for the ladies (Russian speaking ladies) which helped me to choose a special perfume as a gift!Will definitely recommend to anyone, as one of the best shops I have visited.

This is a review for Fran who works in the baby and nursery department.This is the second time that she has given advice for my little one and each time her customer service, care and patience with my toddler has been exceptional. She is so friendly and listens carefully to the things that matter to me before making her recommendations, which has been especially important while considering our next car seat purchase.

Bought a cashmere jumper as a gift. Seam split. Took it back after 1 wear. They didn't really want to know. Refunded without apology. Quality and service really disappointing from John Lewis.
