I found everyone at Specsavers to be very welcoming, warm and helpful. I was there for an eye test and everything was explained. It was a busy day before Christmas and the shop was busy, but they all took the time to be pleasant and kind. I'll be picking up my new glasses on Sunday. It was altogether a great service and happy to recommend.

My sunglasses arm lost a screw. Took them in and asked how much to fix knowing they were raybans and worth fixing. The young girl said she would fix them for free. Fixed them for me straight away. Couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks

Have been a few times with my young child and every time we're seen at least 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time - it seems to work on a first come first served basis rather than appointments so I don't know why they bother giving you a time.

The only reason this is getting one star is because I couldn?t give any lower.Firstly, the eye test is conducted with machines prior to going in to see anyone. They?ve been doing this for years so it was expected. What I didn?t expect is that when I went through to see someone, it was via video link with a technician moving the equipment.It was the least person and professional service I?ve had during an eye test.Also, the fact that there appear to be loads of members of staff in the place yet no one available to deal with customers is outrageous and shows a complete lack of Customer service.

Great glasses with fine lenses everything is so clear the best l have had to date and fit really well l am someone who has worn glasses most of my life so can assure you specsavers know what they are doing very pleasant staff would recommend.

Visited to collect three pairs of spectacles, left with two! They had messed up the lenses in the reading glasses. Another trip needed when they are ready. Not what I expected!

I had floaters and flashes in my eye. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and after examination, they emailed the hospital for a referral examination. 3pm that day I had a phone call to go straight there. Superb service and the staff are a credit.

Great service, polite knowledgeable staff, bit weird having the eye test done via video with the actual optician on a TV screen. Have to mention James he was great no fuss no pressure when choosing frames and very helpful without being over the top.

I am 84 and walk with difficulty using crutches.I came yesterday for my arranged appointment - by bus - to be told that the time of the appointment had been changed without speaking to me or leaving a voice mail or sending a text. I just could not wait another two hours on a hot day in pain. Not so caring then as is made out in Specsavers T.V. adverts. I expected better treatment. No stars.

Staff are friendly and efficient. A thorough service and each stages was clearly explained.Waiting area is very small and would have been a nightmare if there was a pushchair or wheelchair.

All good I just wish I could afford a second pair but without them I can't see close up and my daughter was having to read everything for me.I'm already disabled but I felt even more disabled, if that's even possible spinal stenosis disorder.But not being able to real small print on simple ping meals wow thank goodness for spec savers staff very friendly also never have had any complaints towards spec savers thank you

Previous experiences were always good, not so this time. After being told the glasses would be available in approximately 2 weeks, and I would be called when they're ready, I heard nothing. I called Specsavers who dealt with the question quickly, and I received a call from the shop manager telling me the order was sent from Specsavers system but not received at the other end. I'm now near the end of my next 2 week wait and hoping they arrive this time. Word of advice, don't wait to be called. In future, I will make a point of calling Specsavers for an update after 1 week.
