I asked what sandwiches were available and the helpful lady running the cafe showed me a nice baguette. The food was freshly prepared. I had a coffee as well and it was not expensive.

Having walked past this place on my way to the station for years, I finally went in the other day and it is just brilliant. The lady who runs it is lovely and she made me the best tuna salad roll - really quickly. The coffee is excellent and nothing is over-priced. Not walking past there any more if I can help it :-)

Just the kinda place I needed it to be. Inexpensive with high quality food. No complaints; really liked my sandwich. Plus, banter with the lady at the counter was fun.

Tasty place. You can have eggs and bacon cooked to your liking. They have cakes and desserts which change often. Can have anything you want made into a sandwich.Coffee is good. Takeaway only.Pricing is good compared to Costa's for example. They used to compete with Pumpkin which closed down during 2020.Get there before 2, as they close in the afternoon.

Called in this morning for a breakfast roll . Decided to get a bacon & egg bagette , bacon had been cooked hours earlier and warmed up abit before putting in the bread also eggs soaked in grease , can still taste it now 5 hours later . Found woman behind counter rude and very opinionated . will definitely not be returning .

I always popped in here on my way to work most mornings for a BLT (i always ask for non-crispy bacon) and a hot tea. The train station cafe is extremely expensive and poor quality compared to Buffers. There is always some fresh fruit on offer too. A little gem in dover

Used to work round the corner from this small sandwhich shop but I have never been disappointed with the food. The lady is so friendly, she makes everyone feel like it's your mum making the food.

I cannot believe the excellent service provided at buffers. My favourite is the egg and bacon roll. I think it's the best value for miles.

I'm almost tempted to give this place a 5.....after reaching Dover on our train ride from London, we had not had any breakfast and we were feeling quite "peckish" (that's one of my new English words!), so we stopped in Buffer's for a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious. A can of Diet Coke, and a regular coke with the sandwich was only £4 (what a great deal). People getting off the train were walking right by this place and heading for town, and they were missing out on some great food. Too bad they're closed on Sunday, or I would be going back for another great breakfast sandwich. Jolly good mate!
