Stayed here for 1 night with my family of 5 before getting ferry too Disneyland and again on the way back for 1 night before traveling back to Scotland. We were welcomed and treated better here than we were in Disneyland! I would recommend this Hotel too anyone traveling as we all had a fantastic sleep and were helped by the fantastic staff.Rooms: Room was great ?

It's an interesting place the premier Inn in Dover .On arrived we were informed to beat the vending machine up to get our chocolate bar out , one room was described as smells nice of which is did not ( we had 3 rooms ) we sniffed the other two they seemed ok .I'm sure the bar and food would be nice but we were informed at 2045 they had to close as it's a Thursday ( this must be a Kent holiday I was unaware of . )On entering the bar at 2145 the lady took one look at us and rang last orders informing us kick out time was 10-15I thought this was excellent - making us run on French time I can only assume so we adjust before travel to avoid jet lag .

The computer was left out of the room, but the hotel helped to save it. I returned from France to pick it up 5 days later. I am very grateful to the relevant staff; only the plastic in the bathroom smelled bad.

Excellent location for ferry port and town, with plenty of free parking, some bays long enough for car and trailer. Nearby currently campervans and caravans are banned from the seafront until 6 pm, when there is an overnight £11 fixed parking charge.We have used the restaurant here over the years. It has got distinctly tattier. Curtains removed, so black cold windows at night. Poor cleaning of more difficult to reach shelving. Cables festooned. Food was carefully and well cooked, but portions were really excessive at a time of obesity concerns.

I arrived at 2045. And was checked in quickly, nice guy, but the restaurant closes at 2045. I did manage to get something to eat but felt very rushed, food was ok. Just find that being a prime spot for travelling tourists that 8.45 is a bit early.

This hotel is a decent one for travellers. We didn't get a sea view room but everything about our room was nice. Receptionists.were friendly, welcoming and warm.The Wifi is absolutely Pathetic. 1Mbps in today's internet age is just too low. They should consider upping the speed.Rooms: Rooms are spacious with basic amenities. We needed an iron and board, it wasn't in the room but was provided to us. Microwave is not available in the room or in the hotel.Nearby activities: Sea shore is right next. There is a retail park near by (5 min walk), which has lot of shops and food places.
