My experience was hugely positive. Specsavers my usual optician had no appointments even though I was very worried about my symptoms which according to the internet could have led to loss of vision. John High optician were very kind to squeeze me in and gave me a very thorough examination. I would highly recommend them. Wanda Herriman

I had a great eyewear styling appointment with Sarah, who was friendly and incredibly patient! It was an interesting experience and encouraged me to think about the image that is projected through what we wear, including our glasses. It was nice to have a bit of space and time to try on various frames, and to have Sarah considering and suggesting some different styles. A new set of frames and new lenses for me and the aftercare has been exceptional. Would thoroughly recommend!

Eye testing was thorough, with the optician great at explaining what she was doing and what I needed. Then I took advantage of a free "eyewear styling" appointment before choosing my glasses, which was really good. I speak as someone who wouldn't have thought I'd have gone for/enjoyed that sort of thing, but Sarah was lovely and helpful, and I've ended up with a pair of glasses that I absolutely love but that I might never have picked off the rack left to my own devices.

Came for an eye test yesterday and the optometrist was absolutely brilliant. Very thorough and professional, explained everything very clearly and helpfully. Really got the impression that I was in safe hands. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

I always go here for my eye tests. I am very grateful to them for identifying an issue and referring me to the hospital in the recent past. Easy to access and always feel valued as a client.Today Ekta was very professional and reassuring. She guided me through all of the procedures calmly and knowledgeably. I felt my eyes had been thoroughly examined and I appreciated all of her recommendations which I shall be following up as she suggested.

I visited John High in Faversham because I was worried about why my vision was partially blurred and I was seeing flashes - I was scared I'd got a detached retina. I'd been unable to get an appointment at a hospital, or to find anywhere with a MECS machine, which is what I was told I needed. Ophthalmologist Ekta was incredible. She was thorough, calm, and tested every element of my eyes and vision. It seemed that I'd slightly damaged my retina but not enough to need further hospital attention. Ekta also asked how long I was working each day at the computer, and told me I must cut down the long hours. She rolled back my eyelids and found a long animal hair trapped under my upper eyelid! She was relentless in investigating my eye trouble and I left hugely reassured. I can't thank ? or recommend ? John High enough

I had a really productive style appointment to choose some new specs frames. Sarah was friendly, very helpful and answered all my questions. I have now found some frames that I probably wouldn't have tried thanks to Sarah. Would highly recommend!

Amazing opticians Exter did my test she was very detailed and checked everything super friendly and made me feel very relaxed. Sarah Greeted me with a smile and was very happy. Saw jamie after my eye test who helped me find glasses sadly there was none in the shop I liked so he looked thru the catalog and sent me pictures until we found the perfect pair. They told me a week was ready 3 days later. Highly recommended this place don?t make the mistake I did and using a big company who gave me the wrong prescription.

Just came here for a MECs appointment and the service was phenomenal! I was really worried about damage to my cornea and the optician was wonderful, understood the discomfort I was in. Gave suggestions about alternative eye drops. 10/10 service. Customer service was phenomenal with other team members. I usually go to specsavers as its close to my home but I will be coming here in future!Thank you for comforting me with my concerns!

After feeling patronised by Specsavers, my friend Richard Murr recommended I try John High regarding my hearing. The young man who took my call was brilliant. He seemed eager to help. He booked me an appointment with the audiologist, Phil, who turned out to be a very helpful and pleasant guy. I came away, after a free hearing test, feeling that I had been treated with both professionalism and respect. It restored my faith after the bad experience with Specsavers.

Both my son and I had appointments today for our regular check ups, we were warmly greeted on arrival and whilst my son was being seen I was given excellent help with choosing several pairs of glasses by both front of house assistants. The Optician we saw this time was quite frankly amazing, explained thoroughly my sons examination, advised him on how to avoid eye strain now he was entering his GCSE years. For the first time ever I feel that somebody has fully explained my own personal eye issues in great depth and intricately explained the scans he had taken of my eye. Truly was fascinating. I purchased a number of pairs of glasses and sunglasses and the assistant dealt with my order efficiently and ensured all savings were applied. First rate service and would not hesitate to recommend. Customer service at its finest.
