I normally shop at Sainsburys but this is the first time I have ordered from the Christmas leaflet with the arrangement to pick up between 1 and 2pm today.
It was a shambles from start to finish!
I thought I would collect and pay however everything had to go through the till as I couldn?t self scan it.
Several items simply hadn?t arrived despite having been ordered on October 26th and of the remainder quite a number of articles were packed in blue and beige boxes which contained no barcode and after a lot of head scratching they a actually gave me the items as they had no idea what to charge.
I certainly would not do this again. What should have been in and out in say 20-30 minutes took 90 minutes.

Busy Saturday afternoon and only two tills open. Queues down the aisles, self important supervisors walking up and down, getting in customers way and doing nothing about the queues (remind me what their purpose is?) Self service section packed with small trolleys as queues so long at the two open checkouts. Obviously the aim of Sainsbury's is to push their customers into doing the scan and shop option although that was empty! Seems Sainsbury's need to rethink their strategy. I did mention to a member of staff it may be a good idea to open more checkouts as they seemed nonchalant to the long queues. She nodded and continued standing observing the chaos. Bravo!

so I understand that we are going through stressful times but I was disgusted by the way a cashier/member of your staff lost all professionalism and decency when she started raising her voice and getting angry about the distance kept between people. my mother was stood behind one of the lines that have been placed on most supermarket floors for social distancing. Your cashier started with 'I'm fed up with people like you not doing as you're told!' I was horrified to hear that

Your staff are a joke! My partner went to buy a game today and got refused as apparently he doesn't look 25! The game is 18 and he is 27! His id has been sent off for a job so couldn't actually show it! We shop here all the time and have never been asked for id before! She was going to give us the game as we were on self serve but then backtracked while she was waiting for someone to go and get it! Absolutely ridiculous! People who were also at the self serve said we should of complained because she was very rude! I won't be back again you have lost out money from the game and also lost a few customers!
