Best shop keeper I've ever met, you need it if he doesn't have it he'll get. And super friendly staff that seem to know everyone by name. They have to compete with 2 supermarket express shops and personally I think they knock them out of the water. And awesome with parcels if they can't take it due to size as it's not a massive place, they'll help you find a place that can.

The shop is a registered Yodel drop-off location and as one, it is where you can drop-off parcels, for the Yodel courier to collect. However, it seems as though the shop gets to choose as to which parcel they will and will not accept - depending on the size.I had a parcel which was 3kg in weight and 83cm x 83cm x 23cm in size, so a light thin box (not a large cube shaped box), which I carried to the shop myself. However, upon entering the shop (as soon as I walked into the shop) the shop keeper said something to the effect of "we don't accept parcels", to which I replied "yes you do, your shop came up on the Yodel website - as a drop-off point", so then the shop keeper changed tact and replied, "we dont accept that size parcels"!As I could not be bothered to argue in a shop, I advised the shop keeper that I have purchased the courier service and paid for the postage and in doing so, the size and weight of the parcel is on the label, so if you (the shop keeper) do not accept parcels over a certain size, or weight, then why would the Yodel website advise me to drop of the parcel to you? I also advised the shop keeper that him accepting some parcels and not others (based on size) was a personal choice and decision on his part and not one which has been set/agreed with him and Yodel, otherwise, his shop would not appear as a viable drop-off point.I assume that the shop earns money/charges Yodel a fee to be considered a Yodel drop-off/collection point and yet the shop keeper gets to discriminate and get to decide as to who can and who can't use the Yodel drop-off service in the shop (based on the shop keeper's own bias on parcel size).N.b. to the shop keeper, if it is too much of an issue to you, for you to be used as a Yodel drop-off point for parcels, then why do you not remove yourself from the Yodel 'drop-off point' list of registered locations, that way no one will ever trouble you to take-in a parcel for Yodel. ?
