Use this place for the bulk of our shopping. Big disappointment was the lack of green tea, which it appears they no longer stock, find the meat to be of a better quality than competitors.

It was a disgusting experience. Women on the till charged me £4 more for a pack the chicken than was displayed on the shelf. When I come back from the car park to ask why I was charged so much she started to scream at me telling me that it?s my responsibility to check the price. I said I done it and it was a lot less than she charged me. The price on the receipt is not what was displayed on the shelf, She said that they have no obligation to put the correct prices on the shelf with any product. I said she is wrong and that's the law. She has called her colleague and both started have a go on me saying that they don?t have to put the prices on the shelves and if I?m so problematic I can return the item and get refund. When I said I want to talk to manager, she turned around in her chair. I had to asked another member of staff to call manager.Extremely rude and miserable woman. She has ruined whole my day. I couldn?t stop shaking after how she has treated me.I have back to this shop yesterday with my boyfriend. And she was on the till. She was extremely rude again! No hello nothing. She hasn?t say hello even to my boyfriend! She was throwing products over the counter as crazy. Even my boyfriend was shocked. She hasn?t said how much I have to pay or if I have app? completely disgusted with her!You really have to think about retraining staff.

Good selection for the bakery and usual weekly shopping.The long queues for self service tills can be annoying as there is not many staffed check outs operating at busy times.

Loads of food. Quite a bit of it genuine German. Even found a till open that we didn't have to queue for. Plenty of space in the car park too.

Love to shop at Lidl Hawkinge but the younger staff needs more training, to be less rude to the customers and to stop talking with colleagues while servicing the customers! Horrible service tonight?
