This is the second time now this branch has taken over 24 hours to put money in my account when useing the deposit on there outside machine. I used it a second time as I was informed by the cashier (elderly lady) that they do it between 10 and 11 every day as it is manually done. On my paper receipt I paid it in 7th june 8.50 in the morning it is now the 8th at 7.36am and still not in there. Absolutely appalling service. I recommend noone use there machine to deposit cash.

I have always found the staff in Nationwide extremely pleasant and helpful. We?ve had a mortgage with them and savings schemes as well as banking with them. The cashiers are particularly friendly, in particular a young lady called Alex brightens my day.I really hope they are not considering closing the Hythe branch, Kent, it would be a terrible thing to do. I awarded 5 star because I think the branch really deserves them.

Every time I walk into this branch I am faced than greeted by wretched-looking cashiers irrespective of their age or gender.I?m not sure if it is me or if it is them but I never feel so unwelcomed in any other branch. In fact, sometimes I drive all the way to Folkestone to avoid this branch.I normally go to deposit my cash and these are some of the odd exchanges I have experienced:How come you are depositing such a large amount (£4000) of cash?Sorry, we cannot deposit your money as you brought your nationwide credit card instead of your debit card.Let?s make sure we have the correct address for you. What is your address?So, you are depositing £3000 today. Have you sold your car or something?I never experienced these problems with any other member of Nationwide anywhere else in the country. Only this particular branch!!
