I booked a diagnostics with Maidstone Halfords and about an hour later received this email:Good Afternoon,Im just going through next weeks bookings and have come across a booking for yourself for a diagnostics and checks on your Vheicle.I was just wondering what the reason for the booking is as we currently can't carry out diagnostics due to technician capabilities.If you could please let me know that would be great.I understand people get short staffed or whatever but if you have technicians that can't carry out a diagnostic check which isn't exactly hard makes me wounder what kind of training are they receiving down there.I gave 3 stars due to I didn't get the full experience as my car didn't even get into the garage, but now I have to wait 7days to be refunded as even thoe no one is trained enough to do a diagnostic on the car there websites still let's you book it and deducts 49.99 immediately.I think more organising is needed I think better mechanics who are trained properly needed, and I think a notice on the website not to book diagnostic needed so people are aware they don't have the capability to carry out this kind of work on vehicles.

Booked in for an MOT recently, went in straight away, less than an hour later I get a call to say she's ready for collection. Exactly what you look for in a car garage. Many thanks

Booked car in for back pads to be completed at a very fair price , booked online which was a simple process. Realised my MOT was due so called and asked if they could do it at the same time ( short notice) they said they would do their best to help. Dropped the car at 08.00 and they completed MOT, back brake pads, bulb change, front discs and pads ( bits required to pass MOT) all by midday!!! All fairly priced and the customer service was excellent, polite friendly and kept me informed throughout . Thank you .

My warranty has a partnership with halford autocentre and i called This autocentre to book for a diagnostic but when i mentioned warranty they Said :quote ??earliest booking in Three weeks and they don?t diagnostics??.Afterwards i checked online and what to see : they do diagnostics there and earliest booking next day ???.Not very proffesional ?

Had my MOT done at this place by a very helpful young man, he showed me every problem on my car and explained well so I could understand, I also waited in the clean viewing area which was lovely to watch him MOT my car. Will defo return to Halfords and thank you to A. Muca

Fantastic service from Del. Extremely happy with the professional service to which I recieved. Sorted out my issues and made me feel safe driving my car again, explained the problem to me so I understood and repaired my wheels for me giving me further comfort. Will definitely come here in future for all my car needs.
