I never leave reviews but the service from one member of staff is absolutely shocking . She is the definition of poor customer service and should never of been put in a front of house position . Everyone I speak to who goes to this Starbucks knows exactly who I mean . I?m talking bad bad customer service, rude disrespectful, disinterested time after time not just a one off

I really hate to leave a negative review but, unfortunately, there?s one member of staff here who is so incredibly rude, I think she?s the manager. Every time I?ve gone in and she?s working, she?s either been abrupt or rude towards myself, my carer and/or the other people she serves. Honestly it seems like she hates her job and is creating a hostile atmosphere because of that. All the other staff have always been friendly.

Member of staff on the till has stinking attitude problem, ignored us when we said hello even though she was right in front of us and continued to open boxes, eventually just looked at us when she was ready to take the order and didn?t even say anything, then she just said the bare minimum like she was half asleep? we just want coffee not a bad attitude, she?s like a moody teenager and should get another job in an office where there?s no customer service needed.

You order coffee of some sort and a heated croissant, sadly by yje time the coffee is served the croissant had gone cold! Not well coordinated

Checking in and checking out was smooth- friendly welcoming staff. I used the gym and the swimming pool, was very relaxing . But then I was welcomed with the smell of smoke in my room and lack of attention to detail with the cleanliness. Dust on all surfaces, the mirrors were streaky. Shower bass felt slimey to stand on and the bed had a few hairs on it, it wasn?t made up with a duvet only sheets. The carpet needed hoovering . Wasn?t impressed. I think if you buy a room whether it?s double standard, family or single the gym and swimming should be included.

Room very dark main sidelight not working. Housekeeping did not respond to request to replace sheet withdrawn...Ran out of tea bags had to get them from bar area. I have nothing else to say. Should have booked the Premier Inn down the road

Booked a table for a meal, we got our overpriced drinks, 1 Corona( not very cold) a double gin and tonic firstly £18.50 this is not London However told the girl we had booked a table we then sat and went through a good extensive menu andcwent to order then told that what we wanted( Ribs) they had none, did not seem to bother the girl when we said we going elsewhere, why was we not told when we first got there

We stayed at the village hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary as a family as our son absolutely loves this hotel and we always have amazing family time there. On this occasion however our sleep there was quite frankly horrific. I won?t go into too much detail as the situation was not in the hotels control but left myself and my son in tears at points of our stay. I cannot however Thank the staff enough for how kind, helpful and caring they were in trying to deal with the situation. I didn?t get the names of the receptionist during the night or the receptionist that helped in the morning as I was very sleep deprived but they both went above and beyond with their hospitality and good will gestures to ensure that they rectified the situation as much as was in their power. A huge Thank you for that, we are truly grateful! As far as they rest of our stay went it was absolutely amazing. The pool was brilliant and all staff so helpful to our little wild child who was trying to learn how to swim! The restaurant was brilliant and food was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and again all staff were so supportive of us and apologised for the night we?d had. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who really do put their all into ensuring guests have the best stay possible.

Unfortunately on this occasion we was let down by village hotels Our room was not up to standard as in no mirror for my wife to get ready plug sockets not working light switches not working and 1 of the most uncomfortable beds I?ve ever slept in To be fair to village we have stayed here a couple of times before and it?s been fine and was was offered a room move but it was nowhere near as nice as the room we was in and was completely the other end of the hotel bearing in mind why wife was in a towel from the shower and realised there?s no mirror to get ready so had to walk along 2 full corridors in her towel carrying bags just to get ready to go out it sort of spoiled the experience if you know what I mean As for the bed I?d of slept better on the floor I believe, we both woke numerous times in the night and by morning both felt like we had aged 30 years we felt all bucked up and achy to be fair to village we have slept perfect fine on previous stays so maybe just a 1 off but the bedding also felt corse and rough not soft and smooth like other hotels we?ve stayed in Hopefully this was a 1 off and not standards dropping as like I say we have used village a few times in various occasions and have been fine
