Me and 2 of my friends were checking into our room and one of my friends decided to take a basket of towels that was by the elevator. We then opened the door to the room and began to unpack. My friend then grabbed the towels from the basket and found the master keys, phone and walkie-talkies. Know that this wasn't just a basket of towels now he done the honest thing and went on his way to return it to the front desk as it was not his intention to steal anything. As he left the room he was stopped by the worker that had checked us in and told us we had 5 minutes to leave the hotel or they were going to get the police involved. We obliged and went down to the main desk. I spoke to the manager about the situation because being kicked out of a hotel even though we didn't steal anything was wrong. I asked her if she would forgive us for taking what we thought was just towels, but she refused and told us we caused a breach in security. I then asked if she could confirm that all the contents were still in the basket, which she did. So I then replied with so the only thing that was wrong is that the basket was moved for 5 minutes and nothing was taken. Not only did she still refuse us but she didn't give my friend a refund, but she didn't even have the decency to atleast try and understand that we were genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. Horrible attitude for someone who is in the hospitality industry. If you're looking for good customer service this isn't the place to stay. I would never tell anyone to stay there.

Nice clean room, booking was easy but didn't realise wifi isn't free and you can't pay for it with cash when you get there. It was a lovely sunny day and the sun was (and had been maybe for hours) streaming into the window, which was great but very hot in the room. Shut the curtains and opened the window as no air con but stayed hot for hours and noise from the busy road outside was a bit annoying on the second floor during evening rush hour. Lovely comfy bed, shower had great water pressure and a decent sized shower head, unfortunately managed to flood the bathroom floor though! Also 2 comfy pillows already on the double bed and another 2 in the room

Had a great stay at this hotel. Arrived a bit early but staff had no issues with an early check in. They were super friendly. The room was clean and well supplied, breakfast was great. The location is good and is well within walking distance of the railway station and local shops. Thanks to all the staff for the excellent service. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Maidstone.

Check in was super quick and all the staff were very pleasant. Lovely view of the river, only down side was the noise from the traffic, lots of horns beeping and ambulances with sirens wailing. Saying that I did sleep very well. Room was very clean and again helpful staff when I required an iron then a replacement key card. Would stay here again.

Stayed for 3 weeks business stay and was an enjoyable experience- only issue is key cards sometimes didn?t work and had to be renewed regularly. Also more discounts should be added for clients undergoing long stays.

Room was great - clean and plenty of space, also extremely quiet. Front desk staff (Jarad and Terrence) were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Parking is limited so get there before 5pm but they do have overflow parking at Asda so it wasn't a problem. I would stay there again.

I paid £60 for 1 night for 2 people. Which is great value for money. Staff were very polite and friendly.Parking was free which many Travelodges don?t have.Room was okay for the price. For the people that complain about the Travelodge, you get what you pay for. If you want the Ritz then you need to pay for that.

13/11/22:- On the way home from Dover, due to a vehicle problem & while the car was being fixed. We had to stay overnight at the Travelodge Maidstone Central, The reception staff on the day where very helpful, pleasant & professional. The room we stopped in was excellent. Would have no hesitation to stay there again if needed.

Although the room wasn't super clean (some dust and fluff around) the service at the front desk was great - we arrived after a wedding at around 1am and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a few issues with the facilities in our room but nothing that was broken or ruined the stay. The bed was super comfortable, which was a welcome surprise and the coffee in our room wasn't that bad! Would stay here again.

Good Travelodge in walking distance of all the shops and pubs in Maidstone.Staff were always friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and well presented. There was a small leak from behind the loo everytime I flushed (Rm 110) but but nothing more then a minor maintenance job to rectify. Went to notify reception on check out but the front desk was closed. You can help yourself to extra tea and coffee from the reception which is a nice touch.Breakfast had loads of choices and you can have as much or as little as you like.Car parking is very limited but you can use Asda car park 100m away as an overflow.Overall a great job and I would happily stay again.

Booked an accessible room, this was on 4 th floor but the front desk staff (Terrance and Christine)went through evacuation process in case of emergency. Well Impressed. I would also like to commend them both for their great customer service above their normal duties. The room was very spacious with plenty of turning space and bathroom well equipped. . 2 small points, the twin beds were only 2'6" and needs a luggage rack so you don't have to use the floor .. will def come back.

Very easy to find. Car park is little but extra free parking close by.Staff extremely friendly and helpful.Rooms very clean, would have liked a shower head that could be moved, but a minor detail.
