Bought a TV Sunday afternoon, returned fully packed Monday morning as it had problems with connection to DVD. Argo refused to replace unless I had video proof,or had a ref number from Samsung. Wasted the remainder of day talking to Samsung who didn't have a person speaking good English, before finally they agreed a problem was apparent. I than tried to contact Argo who have no customer service phone, so had to go via a sainsbury manager. Of course,we all take back a brand new set for exchange the following day just to waste time. Do yourself a favor, don't bother buying anything from Argos or Samsung,as the replacement is no better even with a brand new DVD unit

I had no problems until I had to return the phone. It was new and unopened. The employee put her finger in the box in front of me and said she couldn't accept it because it was open. I couldn't do anything and the return was not accepted because the employee damaged the box... I don't recommend it

Mostly a good service at this store, just a shame that staff are always trying to tempt you to take insurance/extended warranty on products.If I want insurance on the product I would have ordered it.

Absolutely shocking service ordered an oven in store tried twice paying by card for them to say transaction failed only to find out the next day argos have still taken the money a whole £1225 two weeks before Christmas. They left us no funds to go out and buy one elsewhere.1 week later we got the money back and now left us no time to buy a new one before Christmas so have left this family of 6 with no means of cooking over Christmas and left us no choice but to find somewhere eles to spend Christmas. They only said sorry on a trust pilot review other then that nothing not a personal sorry or offer of a discount nothing. Our 1st Christmas in a new home has been a mess thanks to argos at very least you thought they would of been in contact to apologise one on one

Simon ?manager? on duty at the Argos in Westwood Ramsgate Sainsbury is extremely unprofessional, rude, aggressive and disrespectful towards customers. I could not explain the humiliation I experienced today at the store which was instigated by him. I brought cable EarPods, two weeks ago which are faulty, I explained that they are faulty and showed how they are faulty but he refused to hear the fully story started raising his voice at me along with talking over me without allowing me to finish my sentences. He also allowed several other employees to gang up on me at the same time to try and get me to change my decision. After I asked to speak to a different manager he said there?s no one above him and I can?t complain further. All whilst raising his voice and humiliating in front of other customers. He should not be allowed to be manager on duty and needs further training on how to handle customer complaints and general customer service. This is unacceptable and I?m no longer going to purchase products from Argos as there is no guarantee in the future I won?t be greeted again by a mispositioned ?manager? on duty who has been given a little more power to make decisions and he takes that to his own advantage and I?ll be left again with a faulty product that I cannot replace. I will take this further to social media (45k followers) and news outlets as people need to be warned about this and where possible make a purchase with a different retailer who has correctly positioned, professional and trained staff who are able to help their customers when they have received faulty products. As this has now wasted more than half my day trying to fix it with no solution along with ruining my day it?s additional stress I cannot be compensated for.

disgusting place hate it argos is not what it use to be had a problem in nov 2022 with a lg stereo system broke 1 month after one year warranty bare in mind companies need to provide 5 years spare part no human contact staff in the store are thick and no nothing hate argos and wouldnt recomend them its not only me now my friends/family wont go into argos or sainsburys absolutely awful company hate them and sainsburys

They gave me an argos brand item instead of the item I purchased without telling me, I didnt realise until I got home. Which meant I had to go back the next day and go through the hassle of getting a refund which can take 3 days to get your money back in your account. NOT HAPPY. Bought it on amazon for £5 cheaper, the correct product, free postage, and delivered within a couple of days. Argos need to sort it out
