Came in to buy a stroller for my nephew, and wanted to use it straight away. Sam, one of the customer service assistants, very kindly put it together for me and even showed me how to put it up and down. Unexpected, and I was so grateful for such amazing customer service.

I was a fan of Argos, but I feel very badly let down this time. I ordered a £250 Security System from them, which they informed me wouldn't be in until 9am the following day. No problem. I went into town, as I had other stuff to do. 10am I received a call from the store telling me, it didn't arrive on the lorry, so they cancelled it. My obvious question was, "can't you arrange it on another lorry?". No, I had to go home and place another order.Then I received an Email stating, "Sorry you've cancelled your Order". I didn't. You did. Then I received another Email, thanking me for Purchasing the Security System, which I haven't got???I do not believe that a massive organisation like Argos, can't make a phone call and get it arranged to arrive that afternoon, or the following day.So, I've had to go home and make another order for delivery. When I made the order, it still told me that I could pick it up from my local store in 4 hours. Was it worth the risk?So now I've had to arrange a delivery, where I'm going to have to stay in all morning to accept and had to pay £3.95 for the privilege.I hope this isn't the beginning of a downward spiral Argos?
