This shop is simply a stunningpiece of beautiful art.I walked in on an early summer's day, just for a look after being enticed by the dazzling exterior. All of a sudden, I noticed a very elegant and young Miss Haversham type sitting in the chair. I had not noticed her when I walked in. We said hello. I mentioned the shop reminded me of 'Mr Ben'. As if you could don a costume, walk through the back door, and enter another world. She said she didn't know who/what Mr Ben was. I wondered if it was true. I said he owned the shop of dreams, said a pleasant goodbye and left.I was back in Sandwich last Sunday on a glorious, bright, sunny, crisp late autumn afternoon. The shop was closed. But the light was beautiful for photos.I don't want to call it a boutique. I believe it to be more artistic than that and worthy of much better description

A most beautiful boutique full of unique one off pieces carefully curated by it's very lovely owner. She is passionate and knowledgeable about her products and her shop and has spectacular taste as well as an admirable ethos advocating ethical second hand shopping.

Clare has a true passion for fashion, and her choice and curation of textiles is wonderful to behold. It is truly lovely meet and deal with someone who, although dealing in differing stock, can pique your interest in something you would not normally admire. A must for the aficionados of fine fabrics!

Fabulous shop and a treasure trove for the textiles lover. Clare has a brilliant eye for the unusual and if you're lucky you'll meet Josie the Jack Russel.
