Great day at Royal St GeorgesWe were made to feel very welcome at the club by everyone at the club.The course was incredible and the greens were the best we have played in a long time.Thank you to Royal St Georges!

I am not usually want to write reviews, having written only a handful in my entire life. Having said that, I felt the need to leave a review for Royal St George?s golf club as leading up to the date of my round, I was increasingly nervous on what I would experience after having read the negative previous reviews on here from a few years ago.I am pleased to say it is evident the club has taken the historic reviews on board, and they have made a huge attempt to make everybody, visitors and members alike welcome, as was the case for me today.I have dreamt of playing a round here ever since I began playing golf, however I never considered myself good enough to be able to enjoy the difficulty in which this course provides, and it certainly isn?t for the faint of heart.I have thoroughly enjoyed my day today, the caddiemaster/caddies were welcoming and encouraging, as was the starter who provided us some valuable information for getting us round the course in good standing. All staff were encouraging, and shared in the excitement that my group were experiencing stepping up to the first tee.I?d recommend anybody to come and play here, even just once.

Outstanding golf course, with an even more outstanding Clubhouse. What we love about this place is how welcome you are made to feel. The lunches are out of this world, the head chef recently moved from Scott?s Restaurant in London, so if you want a Dover Sole through to a Lobster or Beef Fillet, nothing is too much. David at the front of house made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much, what a great day, best Links Course in England.

Superb course in very good condition... Rough was brutal so you couldn't just smash driver and get lucky! Greens very undulating in places... Good fun..
