This must be one of the most depressing and disappointing M&S stores in the country. I?m generally a fan of M&S but this shop sells the most frumpy, underwhelming stock. It?s badly laid out, dark and gloomy. It looks like a pound store. Come on Sevenoaks M&S, surely you can do better than this!

Tried calling the customer service number 3 times in a row at around 9 a.m. to report a stolen trolley in Clockhouse Lane and the automated system simply hung up on me. I couldn't even leave a message. M & S used to be famous for renowned for its customer service but those days are sadly gone.

Do not park in this car park - I was back at my car within my paid for hour, I sorted my M & S shopping - then tried to programme my sat nav for a journey to Surrey. After several attempts when it still wouldn't couldn't connect I drove out of the car park. This short delay - whilst I was sitting in my car in the car park has led to me receiving a fine of £100 and M & S take no responsibility - even though I had been shopping in their store, and paid for my parking.

You average M&S well stocked and a busy food hall. Like most under staffed but those there are in the main friendly and helpful. New self service checkouts and reduced staffed pay points. Dedicated refund and returns desk is efficient while automated Click and Collect system often fails to work but fortunately staff quickly on hand when help is required. Very average cafe with similar staff unfortunately.

So went for lunch at the cafe at M & S only to find not much on the menu with no avocado for toast ok I?ll have a Halloumi wrap, sorry none. Ok I?ll have fish and chips, sorry none??? you get the picture. Ended up with a pre packed salad which was very nice but 5 th chose. Not great experience for M&S who are usually top of there game

Tills removed and I'm now expected to self serve.Had I wanted to be a shop checkout assistant I would have trained to become one.Sorry I will now buy my clothing elsewhere in Sevenoaks and as for the foodhall I'll shop at Waitrose in future.I wonder what will become of the M & S site in Sevenoaks when it will undoubtedly close down..

Checkouts have been removed. Large counter to deal with returns only, I was pointed towards self service tills. Customers expected to self service clothing items. I decided to not bother so put the items I wished to purchase back.Will not shop there in future!

Has a supermarket/food section!Lived in Sevenoaks for nearly 2 years before finally going in M&S and turns it out had the Foodhall supermarket in the back the whole time.Why they don?t have a sign on the outside of the building I?ll never know.Tried adding it to google maps and got rejected?Theres also a cafe upstairs which I successfully added to google maps but it seems like it only has starbucks-style food

Checkouts have been removed and self checkouts are now standard - not too pleased.Formal suit section has been removed and fewer staff members than normal - additional journeys required.Not as many staff present as before and selection not as comprehensive as other branches.

Small when compared to other branches but nice. The only problem I have is M&S website and app needs updating because they do have a food hall and a bakery which is not mentioned in the app or website.

Thank you to Joe B in the menswear department. We couldn't find what we were looking for and he was very helpful and found us exactly the right tops. Great, friendly customer service.
