I arranged collection of items from my home and spoke on the telephone to two ladies to arrange and confirm this.On both occasions they were extremely pleasant and polite. The items were collected as arranged, by a very pleasant gentleman. My experience all round was one of satisfaction. Many thanks for your help.

The staff are nice, the manager is just rude I unloaded 5 boxes of good China and when I took the last box in, she came in from the back and said "I don't want this take it away". Rude, no customer service and clearly does not value donations. It was all good stuff, wedgewood etc. So much for BHF needing donations. What got me is she didn't even look at 99% of it, just straight up rejection. Never will donate to that store again.

As all of us mother knows we like to keep some things of our babies / toddler for sentimental keep sake value to show to their children one day.I had kept my baby boy things since he was a baby up until 7 years old thinking I might have another baby in the future. My husband and I have decided we?re not going to have another baby and has been on my case to get rid of the 8 big bundles of African bags of baby / toddler / boy boy clothing. So I decided to donate them all to British Heart Foundation as my dad had heart problems in the past.I rang Carol the manger at BHF on Saturday 4.45pm regarding donating my son baby / toddler/ little boy clothes. She told me she?ll have them on Monday morning. On that very day they where already out from the loft into my husband car / car boot ready to deliver to BHF on Monday noon.Sadly I forgot to get a handful of my son baby / toddler things for sentimental value keep sake.On Tuesday night I remember I haven?t kept anything from when my son was a baby / toddler so I decided to go to BHF to get a handful of my son things for keep sake as he?s an only child. I went to BHF on Wednesday afternoon ask the short hair old lady if she was Carol the manger she said no she is not. She told me Carol is not in today but will be in Thursday morning. I describe the big African bags we donated on Monday morning, she told me there are some upstairs in the store room but she doesn?t have permission to go upstairs to have a look. But I can have a look to see if there are some already on the shop floor. The lovely ladies there I don?t know there names one with short hair & the other manger assistant where really lovely. I told them what has happened and they where sympathetic with me and I manage to get a little toddler shirt, jeans, hat and dressing gown showed then the photos of him wearing those things. Although they told me not to pay for them I still Donated £10 CASH to the assistant manager as I insisted.I went back to BHF today Thursday morning 9.20 to see Carol the mangers as I wanted some baby grow, little foot were & a particular favourites of his I wanted back, I was going to donate something for them anywhere even took a tin of quality street chocolates to say thank you afterwards didn?t even give it because the way Carol the manger spoke to me was absolutely shocking and heartless!!!! She definitely have no people skills no manger skills and strongly recommend she should not be a manager there!!! Very appalling people skills!!! And to work in a shop like that yuh you most have people?s skills & a heart otherwise no one will want to ever go back there again!!!! Whether to shop or donate!!!! I certainly won?t be donating there again until there is a new manager!!Carol the manager told me she didn?t have time to go upstairs and have a look but then ask her colleague to go have a cuppa & chat with her, not bothered with my FEELINGS at ALL !!!Told me she?ll try to have a look on Saturday but can?t promise anything which in my heart I know she was faking it with me, she was not going to have a look that?s the impression I get from her as she was not genuinely sympathetic at ALL !!!She even ask me to pay in a rude manner for my baby grow, baby shoe / sandal I donated!!! Was going to give some pennies anyway as I did the day before I donated £10 cash to the assistance manager whom wasn?t there today, I told her that she look at me and says but she?s not here today as if to call me a liar!!! What an agro I had this morning from Carol the manager at BHF, I left the shop deeply hurt. I even donate my long brown wool coat today, gave it to Carol. The man that serve me was sympathetic, understanding and nice. She comes across really rude, horrible, unsympathetic and no people skills!!!I?ll not even be going back there this Saturday as she said because in my heart I know it?ll be useless and pointless!!I think she?s the new lady that the other reviewers are talking about.I personally won?t be donating anything there again in the near future until she?s gone!!!

Many of the prices for men's clothes are unnacountably expensive. £12 for a number of mens shirts with nothing special about them. In any of the other charity shop these would be max £5. I don't recall prices being so high until recently. The changing room continues to be out of commission for no satisfactory reason besides 'head office says so' & I was told today it will not be reopening.

I notice that clothing is expensive for a Charity Shop since new woman started working there. Really rude as I use to always take my doggys in and staff were lovely.

It?s a brilliant ?shop?. Not a brilliant ?charity shop?. The staff don?t like speaking to you and it is overpriced. As I said, a good shop, not a good charity shop.

Have personally found some great bits in here but the prices seem to be going further and further through the roof asking £12.99 for a soft toy?? Its not a bad shop as a whole but the prices need to be re-considered i think
