Make sure you phone first before donating. They will tell you if they can accept stuff and what they are taking. When I asked about recycling and waste after reading another review the member of staff was really helpful and gave me a full answer. I will continue to donate to them. You can park in the Sainsbury but have to be really careful of getting done by parking wardens.

Barnardos Tonbridge is a charity retail store, raising funds for children and their families in crisis. The store is located next to the Sainsburys car park at Angel Walk. The store is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies and maintains a consistent layout for those with visual impairment, support dogs are very welcome.Store assistants were very helpful locating items and offering advice on donations and branded products. The presentation is always great and a lot of creativity is put into displays. This is one of the busiest charity stores in Tonbridge due to the rapid turn over of stock, there is always something new and quirky to buy!Currently masks are worn as advised and a social distancing is respected. Hand sanitiser is available on entry and markings are available on the floor to offer a safe route. (Changes may occur dependant on government advice)Payment can be made by Card or Cash and donations can still be made, it is advised to phone prior to donating at present due to available space but the staff are happy to accommodate planned large donations as well as those essential smaller ones. Every donation helps. There is a list in store of the donation type that is currently accepted and sought.

I do not recommend anyone handing in their goods to this charity as I saw a staff member throwing everything that was waiting behind their door into a big black bin. I understand if they have no more space for goods but the very least a charity should do in this case is to recycle the goods. The utter lack of environmental responsibility is unacceptable at this day and age. We will not be donating or shopping in this charity any more.

Rude, unhelpful staff. They may have a lack of volunteers i get that but I would not volunteer with that miserable lot, moaning and complaining how hard they are working, tried to donate clothes they would not take them, because they were too busy, no pleasantries at All, avoid this store.
