One of my reviews for another organisation was seen and found useful by several thousand people so thought it is worth writing a review about Nationwide given the mess they have created which has upset so many people. I don't often write reviews unless something has been amazing or ridiculously AWFUL and in this case it is beyond AWFUL. Nationwide's trustpilot star rating is so low and I suspect it ALL boils down to their very unfair "fairer share" scheme. I think they are going to LOSE MASSES of customers as the complaints team do not have any authority whatsoever about this. I'm wondering how many of us who are writing reviews will bother to go to the financial ombudsman. I do have better things to do with my time but seeing the scale of this and HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE VERY HURT by this, I'm thinking we should all take it to financial ombudsman. Like so many others, I too, along with my family members and even all my children, have been with Nationwide for a VERY LONG TIME - we have ALL sorts of types of current and savings accounts with them - AND YET STILL DIDN'T QUALIFY for the fair share payment. I suspect they have such few people regularly using them properly as they've become so awful that they worked out it wouldn't cost them much to give out a few loyalty bonusses and in doing so have alienated those of us with lots of products and long loyal custom. EXTREMELY POOR MOVE by Nationwide. Like many others, am in process of planning to move. Best course of action would be to admit your mistake, put it right for those who have been truly loyal longstanding customers, and it would really probably just take your top people who take the big payments and bonuses just to actually share their bonus for once to sort this mess. I'm no prophet but this might well be the beginning of the end of Nationwide by their own doing.

Tonbridge Branch provides the best banking experience, always extremely helpful, friendly staff provides a great service. Highly recommended to everyone to be banked with Nationwide.In addition, their App for Android and iPhone is absolutely brilliant, a of great example when thoughtful design UX/UX meet powerful functionality.

Just want to share my positiveexperience with you regarding the Tonbridge Branch having lost my debit card. Spoke to Alex on the phone ..who as usual was extremely helpful and was able to put my mind at ease in a very professional and positive way .Tonbridge branch particularly are extremely helpful and are a credit to Nationwide .. so thanks Alex ,Linsey and Liz and all ??keep up the good work on the high street!

Wow, never ever have I experienced a lovely lady in a nationwide branch before. Always happy! Alway dealt with my enquiries and payments and never complains.Always makes me feel welcome and alway walkouts happy while being served.This lady (Lindsey Fermor) deserve a medal!

Came in to sort out my childhood savings account. Served by a lovely young guy called Alex. He was very welcoming and friendly. I have anxiety and have been worrying for a while about coming in and he made me feel so at ease. Very easy process. Thank you so much Alex :)

I cannot praise the Tonbridge Nationwide Staff enough. They always go out of their way to serve the Customers with 100% great Customer Service. I was offered a home insurance quote recently and have managed to save £42 a month I?m so happy.
