Had a gold band which had already been engraved with 2 names redone. Was a little worried as to how it would look as they didnt have the exact same font as originally done. It came back really well done, couldn't have asked for more. Staff very helpful too.

I have phoned Claybrooks in Tunbridge Wells on Friday the 29th of November '19 to ask if they were actually pawnbrokers and wanted to buy a small unmarked gold antique pendant of an approximate weight of 5-6 grams. They have told me that they could have determined the karats of the items and that the shop would have closed at 17:00. I told them that I would be there well before that time. I drove from Groombridge and parked at Victoria shopping center only to hear the clerk saying to me that it would have been better for me to sell it privately that in that case I would have certainly made more money and finally that they were not interested. I have replied that they could have told me that on the phone saving me the trip and the bother. What a joke they are. What a waist of time. That pendant was attached to my dad's antique Patek gold pocket watch chain that I have sold for a fortune. Luckily not to Claybrooks. Avoid.

This store has a very good selection of jewellery, they also cater to everybody's budget. Excellent customer service with very knowledgeable staff. Would highly reccomend, especially first time jewellery buyers or if your unsure what to get for gifts as they give very good advice.

Other half got me a celtic cross on a chain for my birthday, we had a brilliant service and a quality purchase, even the price was brilliant would highly recommend
