Just tried to enter the shop 14/12/2023 to buy collars for Xmas for my dogs. The door was open with the lady who worked there stood in the door way. As I entered she screamed at me to ?watch her coffee!?, which she?d left on the floor in the middle of the doorway!?. I looked down and Saw the coffee which I had not knocked over.. she then at 9.56am said actually we not quite open yet, thank you and asked me to come back! I live just up the road and did regularly visit to purchase from there. I certainly will NOT be going back! One word?RUDE.

This is my favorite store while visiting Tunbridge Wells. They have many cute doggy and kitty designed stuff that are for both humans and pets! So cute to see puppies hate leaving this store! I think it?s all dogs? favorite store in Tunbridge Wells!

I bought a lead and matching collar from here. After first use the lead had damage from the collar.I went back to the shop for an exchange and the manager refused to replace.When I said I had statutory rights and that it was not fit for purpose she threw her arms in the air and told me to stop abusing her and her shop! I would never abuse another person. That was particularly hurtful. I certainly made no personal comments. I just wouldn?t.Manager said how she had sold hundreds of these leads. I was very happy for her about this - however the particular lead I had bought was defective.I use a wheelchair. Store manager looked at my chair and said it was my fault for not using it properly! She said ?do you think I can afford to lose £20?? I said neither can I.Store manager took the lead, Very reluctantly gave me a receipt to say she had the lead as she was going to send back to manufacturer.To say I wasn?t using the lead correctly due to being in a wheelchair was incredibly hurtful, unprofessional and just plain wrong.She actually showed me how it ought to be used - the way an able bodied person would. I loop it over the backrest.This was a month or so ago, I have heard nothing since, no phone calls - nothing.Appalling customer service from the manager. She was irate to be asked for an exchange and I?m lacking the confidence to go back.A phone call would have made the difference.I chose to buy locally instead of using amazon, but I will never return due to the rude and derogatory assessment of me.I know we are all under stress at the moment, but her reaction was out of proportion. I didn?t need her anger. I had not asked for a refund,just an exchange.My experience of shopping at collared was very negative. I?ve never had a store manager behave so terribly.On speaking to other dog walkers, they?ve had a similar experiences and commented that customer experience does not matter unless you are buying.So, right now I have no lead, no replacement or refund and a very bitter taste in my mouth.The store assistant who originally sold me the lead should take no blame. She was really lovely to my dog and very friendly to me.This is on management.What a shame.
